Judging by the collector booster's individual pre release card pricing you both got moderately hammered value wise, you pretty much need to hit a Ragavan special treatment or a significant amount of the borderless extended praetors (MoM version) to make the Aussie Price make sense (my local has c.booster boxes for 359.95) this may be offset by potentially hitting a random serialised if your looking at case breaks, but generally its going to be what the Professor always says "if you want the card, buy singles". Don't get me wrong, genuinely interested in this set as a whole, brings a lot of interesting mechanics to the table and should be an interesting in limited as well as constructed formats. Bit of a let down that its a USA print :(
It's kind of weird that these pre-set drop box openings seem to conveniently check all the boxes to build hype. Set after set content creators are sent heavy boxes to drive up profits. Don't get fooled people. Buy singles.
I've purchased a bundle from almost all the last few year's sets, and all of them (aside from VOW and Capenna) have either hit parity or exceeded the retail value, and provided a good spread of all of the Bombs/Signpost UNC in each of their respective metas. Almost doubled my money on the 2 ONE compleats I bought as well before they went nuts (Norn x2). Notwithstanding, My earlier comment about the value in the set stands, this set, at least for me is going to be one where buying the singles of cards I want makes a lot more sense than mass booster opening. And as the boys said, I agree that part of getting the bundles at least for me is the packaging it comes in provides a good place to store most of the cards I accumulate for each set in an easily recognisable container as an added bonus to the cards contained within.
I'm buyin a bundle to replenish my commons and uncommons as well, i build my edh decks very cheaply from my collection of commons, uncommons and junk rares and mythics, so i buy a bundle each year
Pretty nice pulls there on the MOM bundle, I'm excited to open some packs soon.
the bundles where actually printed in japan not the US

I have always had luck on the bundles. Everyone knows that you can buy singles, some people just enjoy opening packs.
Copypasta cuck

I usually buy one bundle for each set to store the card of the set and I get pack, so more buying a cool box and boosters than a bundle
