I am 22 minutes in and had to stop to say this. You are both great parents and doing exactly what you have to do. This toddler stage is only temporary. The sooner he goes through it, the sooner he will come out of it the other side. There is light at the other side. Yes its difficult but you are not hiding him away because it might be hard or you will be judged. Lets be real we know that there will be people of ALL ages that will judge him and call him naughty when they have no idea. When you take him to restaurants, and on planes and to doctor appointments and to shopping centres, all those things are where he is learning how he needs to behave by what he sees, how you praise his good behaviours and let those tantrums go and just sweep him up in your arms and let him have his moment. Trust me i was judged when my son had one of his terrible two tantrums in the local grocery store and the checkout girl said "gee his naughty, typical boy" the following week he was being talkative and happy and smiling to her and her word were "Oh what an angel". I looked at her and said. This is the same boy you judged last week when he had his melt down. She knew exactly what i meant and went red in the face and didn't know what to say. I paid for my groceries and walked away knowing that I should never care on what other people think of me or my son as what I was doing was teaching him how to navigate life as he was trying to communicate with me and he was frustrated that he wasn't being understood. As he learns to communicate better his melt downs will slow down. You got this girl.

I so appreciate you guys showing Kavon’s restlessness at times because my boy is the exact same. He never stops moving but I hear from everybody it’s just an athlete in the making🏀
Tip for flying with toddlers; travel at night so that they can be tired and sleepy and sleep during the flight. I flew with a 3 year old on a 3 hour flight and we did okay. We also packed some toys in her backpack to play if she woke up during the flight. Also what’s your nieces name ! What a cutie.
The fact that this blog was an hour long but I was very much entertained and laughing at the silly moment when naz didn’t show yasmin 😝 . Love how loving and close everyone in the family is something to cherish 💕
