He's not talking to the girl in the song, he's musing about her. He feels she's out of his league so he's not even going to approach.
@Matthew Snider
That's metaphorical too.
I know from experience.
This was a damn anthem to many. Angst. Alienation. Incredible song.
The whole mood of the 90s wrapped in a song.
"I want you to notice when I'm not around"...best line ever.
Yep best line ever!!! Who the hell is ever cool enough? Just can’t be done!!😉👍
One of the best songs ever written. If you want to see an English pub come to a standstill, put this on the jukebox. We sing every damn word! Epic.
Everyone tries to explain this song - saying it was about him liking a woman but really, it's the anthem of all of humanity. That's why it has almost a BILLION views today.
LOVE this song. I think everyone can related to it or remember a time they could relate to this. It's so raw. Two other favorites of mine by Radiohead are called "Fake Plastic Trees" and "High and Dry".. High and Dry is more polished, but really beautiful. Fake Plastic Trees is intensely raw......
Another song you might like is called "How to Save a Life" by the Fray... totally different from Radiohead, but powerful song and video.
I can blast this on repeat and never get tired of it 🙌🏼
Great song. Great band.
The emotions this song brings out of me are crazy.
Reminds me of my first crush.
Every punk ass skateboard pothead born between 80 and 87 listened to this song a million times and we loved it
The clean barre chord arpeggios with a lot of reverb during the verse and that Chuga-chuga into the chorus is super heavy and distorted. It's like a total catharsis.
The lead singer was in a bar when he was to shy to approach this beautiful woman. So he watched her for a bit, like a creep, and when he finally built up the nerve to speak to her, she called him a creep and a weirdo.... Now we have one of the greatest songs ever made. Love your reaction to it. Best one I've seen and I've watched a lot of them. Lol
"they just ate that, no cap"
Perf
Prince's loved the song much he sung it in concert!!! I must say truthfully, I prefer Radioheads version better!
At Coachella, that version was amazing
We all feel like an imposter/creep/weirdo at times. It's an important song. Thanks dude!
The original singer and band. Nobody has ever topped it!
I always think about Ronald Miller from Can't Buy Me Love when I hear this song. They thought of him as a creep too and he just wanted to be a part of their beautiful world, even for a little while.
Awesome song! Awesome band! I’ve seen them live 3 times 😁❤️
Reaction from every youngster is always brilliant✊😉♥️
I’m in my 60s😂😂but only know it cos was hammering outta my kids rooms in 90s🤣🤣🤣🤣
♥️way bass player just waits to hammer that guitar🥰👍😉
Damn!! Even I can still remember feeling like that as a teenager!! Nobody’s ever as cool as they wanna be 😭💔😉👍
Check out: Killers, the strokes or the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 🔥❤️
INCREDIBLE SONG!!! 🎵✌❤
It’s really sad that so many young people are mostly only aware of music from their personal time period. It’s the state of today’s music industry I guess. When I was a teen I was aware of contemporary music and music from decades before me. I’m glad to see that you are allowing yourself to experience different music .
This! 👆🏽
This is what I'm talking about!
Oooh my first time hearing the original version of this song… i have only heard covers.
The best ever. ❤️
Anthem ❤️
Yeah this shit came out when I was 15. It’s such a Gen X cliche, but I’m that cliche.
Brutall
🤘🤘🔥
"This was the hit song of the first album Pablo Honey. It's a large rabbit hole to dive down. You should check out songs from the second album "The Bends" where they really blew up. songs like Just, High and dry, Fake Plastic Trees, The Bends, Blackstar, Street Spirit, My Iron Lung.
Great Reaction Video Dude ✌🏻
Macy Grey covered this and it's brilliant! 🤘
Check out Prince’s cover of this at Coachella. ☔️
Subscribed!
Great video of this song.
Pete 🔥🔥🔥
Love the song ! 💖
Great hit!
Loved your reaction! 👍
Beautiful Song 💞
Great Song 😁💜
I Love Radio Head 🤩
Please do a reaction to "Jason Isbell's" song "Cover Me Up. He sings it the best but if you want a close second, and better video to watch, then get "Morgan Wallen's" version. also "Radiohead" Fake plastic trees, as others have already mentioned, is amazing. Always looking forward to your vids!
🎶🎶🔥🔥🎶🎶💯💯
I Love This Song 😻
Great song!
Ok computer head album is a must.
The anthem of awkward and 17
A great song that will stand the test of time...do Prince's live version next!
Not love. Desire.
By far my favorite Radiohead song. Thanks nephew. 🤎🤎🤎🖤🖤🖤. Twon you aught to react to Dave Chappelle, (yes the comedian, Dave Chappelle), sing Creep, by Radio head. 🤎🤎🤎🖤🖤🖤
Dude, you're adorable 😊
💯
Please try Fake Plastic Trees
Please react to DON’T ASK MY NEIGHBORS by the Emotions. Song and arrangement by Maurice White and EWF.
monica never heard of radiohead? i believe you
klown core
great song for sure...but talking about the ladies...all of us without fail felt this dang way for sure...LOL...no matter what.......you meet this one and suddenly you understand how damn creepy you really are...LOL.....for sure.
Creep is their most popular song but it doesn't capture the sound of the band in the slightest, I suggest listening to either, Weird fishes, How to disappear completely, Paranoid android or 2+2=5 for a better idea on Radiohead :)
☮️💙💙💙😔
Now listen to Prince’s live cover. It is on CZcams
You need to check out Cant Trust it by Public Enemy
I have always loved this song even though I’ve never really liked this style of music. I’ve always been diverse with liking different types of music but I can’t stand techno or really heavy rock but for me anything else goes from the days of Roy Orbison to todays music.
The solution for you is to hear Haley Reinhart's rendition with Vintage Postmodern Jukebox . It is a 40s vibe with totally different vibe
He means it. That's already terrible enough
And too much people relate

Karma Police
It's a must listen, but this is from there first album and really ruined their start. Because no one could see past it. Every album sounds different, keep diving into them man. In Rainbows album is literally full of bangers. Jigsaw falling into place for fast pace. Weird fishes, Nude, Reckoner, house of cards. I could basically just name every song on the album
NOW you gotta hear Brian Justin Crum song this on America's got talent. It's a must.
He likes a woman that's out of his league and he wishes that she'd notice him even though he's a creep and a weirdo.
You already reviewed Brian Justin Crum who did this song.
RATM Vietnow
Never stop listening to Big Pete. His taste is impeccable. Ask him what he thinks of Ed Sheeran’s You Need Me, I Don’t Need You. It’s almost entirely rap but it’s melodic too. He’s influenced by Eminem. I think Big Pete would approve. Lol!
More about obsession than love… this isn’t about funny…
