this game was played in December 1980, the next season NBC moved the game to New Years Day and it became a major bowl game
Same thing happened with Citrus Bowl in 85.That one went better for Ohio State

I just watched the '81 PennState vs Pitt game on Saturday and he was still doing the same thing as a Senior. I thought it was odd when I saw it too.
