I used to normally really like Craftsman products....I have many of their hand tools, and a few power tools..... However, I purchased one of their shop vacs, several years ago (at Sears)....and it just wasn't a very good unit....I had to duct tape the bags on to it, so they wouldn't come off when used....the filter wouldn't stay attached......it had a lot of various mechanical problems.....and I wasn't a "power user".....I typically used it to vacuum out my garage once or twice a year, and to vacuum out my car.... it finally just kind of died on me, altogether.....and honestly, I was kind of happy it did....
I will say it was nice to have when my basement flooded a few years ago.....thankfully, it didn't give me any trouble that day....lol
However, I don't think I would buy another Craftsman vacuum (Having said that....maybe they have improved the design since I got mine, and are perfectly fine now....but...I'll stick with another brand this time)
I wish you would have tested these for db noise levels. I have a 30+ year old craftsman vac that is still going strong but it is LOUD!. I cannot use it without wearing hearing protection
It made the list via best sellers but I'm suprised you didn't mention the ryobi 1 gal, simple reason is its super tiny, light, cheap, wall mountable (with link) and overall a great homeowners garage vac. It isn't replacing big shop vacs and its not going to handle dust from a saw well (no bags) but it will clean out cars and garage floors very well
I'm surprised the DeWalt DXV12P-QT didn't make the list. Its an affordable price and has tons of power and best of all, it'll save your ears. Also at that price point, its a 60 premium to the Hart you listed but well worth it.
I didn't know Ego made a vacuum . I bought some of the air tips and they fit my 1 1/4 and 2 1/2 ridgid hoses. But they don't fit the 1 7/8 ridgid connector like advertised. 🤷🏻♂️
My neighbor is a master plaster patcher -- he told me that Ridgid makes the best, so I bought their top-of-the-line, non commercial, stainless steel model that comes as a cart -- I was amazed how quiet it is. Model# WD1956B is what you want.
i’m watching this video because they lose their power over the shorty term and this is after sever different models over 15 years .
i will say that I have not tried the model you’ve mentioned but I’m ready just to switch brand not waste more money .
anyways hope it continues to work forb
I was going to buy the ridgid +attachments but I decided to get the Hart and some earplugs - saved $300
Too many Milw
Yes sir. Whatever you say. Please don't hurt us.
Chuck Norris doesn't use vacuums because nothing he does sucks... @@Protoolreviews
@@ProtoolreviewsBy any chance would you be able to tell me if the tool on that little 2.5 gallon wet dry shop vac is made so that we can pull off the horizontal piece from the hose?
I don't need a large capacity Shop-Vac but what I think we need is a larger mouth on the hose ...
Here's the situation : charcoal briquettes all over the floor that got wet ... some got walked on .
Why the hell would you get a battery vac??? Go back to plugging tools in and”save the world”!!
Its easier to charge a battery or two and not have to worry about dragging around cords
