Welcome to the #CalmLands200Challenge! Great start! I'm using that same FIat on my challenge - great starter tractor, and quite cheap!
One minor thing with your video - i'd disable the start video / music, you may get a content strike for that music playing while you're in the downloadable content menu on the FS start screen.

Yeah I noticed that sound level too high after the fact, not normally in the mod hub with the recording still going. Good idea to turn off

Welcome to the challenge! Please don't worry about the mods. The idea was to minimize the "unreal" weird stuff you can get outside of modhub. Your judgement on "reasonable" is fine!

I’m guessing collecting the collectibles is a no no
It's so fun to see the different paths everyone is taking to start their farm. It's going be exciting how everyone farms turned out towards the end. I have a suggestion if you're trying to stay with modhub only mods. It'll be time consuming but in my opinion worth it. Go through the mods for this game save and unchecked all mods that aren't found in the modhub. Then you won't be stressing over rather a mod is modhub/nonmodhub because the nonmodhub mods won't be in the shop when you load into the map.
I agree super exciting to see what the ending is going to look like for all the farms. I’m going to aim for 25-30 episodes as well.

Not reaching high enough, there is a handy all platforms mod that would be helpful here. It’s called mobile ramp. It’s cheap too, but works great for driving on a reaching higher for the stars 🤣
Oh I didn’t know about to mobile ramp! I have created a static setup
When selling those trees - if you drag them all the way to the sell point, you'll want to cut the full trees into 6-8m segments before selling, you'll get 2-3x more profit.
As much as I love that Ford 8630 (it's a mainstay for me in almost all of my saves)... it's not a ModHub mod. tsk tsk! (jk, have fun with it!)
Good thinking! Although I’m changing to wood chips which you will see part way through, I remember a good mod for it!
Hmm now I consider to pause my RiverView and start this Challenge aswell it will be some new to me 😊

8:08 The air filters are purely cosmetic like the fenders and everything below it. For the most part the only things that effect performance are the engines and the tyres

Fords are on Mod hub just depends if it is meant be cross play, but that one isn't you are correct lol also your bale trailer is also not on mod hub but apart form that great video and love the idea. Also if you use FSG Mod Assist you can use different mods from different save games Also seem like a great challenge
Great start and amazing to see another different starting plot 😁. If you’re feeling guilty about the Ford, you could always “fine” yourself a small fee. What I’ve done on console in the past for some of my content. Is I would fine myself like $5,000 or so for every time I broke a rule. For instance on console, I leased/returned the first medium tractor in the store. Just an idea, but like Krustoo said “I wouldn’t worry about it”. Just focus on the “unreal”. Great start, will be following 😁

46:00 fun fact - that CR600 has a "transport mode" that once you enter the "vehicle" you can collapse it for transport. may help in the future? I had the same struggle on my Middleburgh series, it was a lightbulb moment when i found that it can collapse.

20:42 you really don’t need the plough on the front
If you cut logs to 6 m there worth more there is a measurement mod to make cutting to length easy
That is a great mod, I end up going down the chipping route
That tractor is a mod hub tractor its pc version the console version is lizard love your videos

With a limited budget I would of got the tree devourour and a trailer and turned the forest into woodchips 😂 I hate forestry
I LOVE the tree devourer but I think that would break the rule of using unrealistic mods
@@MrsSimGamer that’s ok I would be breaking rules left and right, you wouldn’t see me using a harvester with less than 200 hp. I think there’s only the 175 hp rost in the base game and the only modded ones I can think of are the bizon’s. Safe to say that’s is not happening 🤣
Important question for those on console wanting to do this challenge.. What would be our start money? Cause we can't subtract or add to like the PC's can.
That is a good question, I think the start from scratch does £250k? But there is debt. I know there is someone in the challenge that is on console, I will find out how they did it.
@@MrsSimGamer I ended up, when selling everything, using the 'daily deduction ' mod to get myself just under the 250k.

I know it will start working when I turn it on (but don’t have a trailer yet) so waiting on that.
Could you lay the chipper on its side and scoot the wood in so you don’t have to climb the cliff?
