My 40 caliber Rhino is a piece of crap, now getting repair for the second time at SFRC here in Canada ( the only authorized repair station ) for firing pin issues. The firearm was over 1700.00 was used maybe 35 times before it started having Firing pin issues and finally not making enough contact to barely dent a primer. After over a year (the first time) waiting for repairs and parts to come from Italy it came back with the very same issues ( some repair?).
The Second time it was mailed back to SFRC in late September it's still there January 16, 2023 waiting for parts. Maybe it's the 40 caliber that is having the issues - but all I can say it's been the worst firearms purchase I have ever made. Tried three times to contact the manufacture NO REPLY, not even an acknowledgement. Nice one Chiappa real professional NOT!!!

I was looking for a simple example of the internals of the Rhino and in this video I found quite a bit more. now I can pull my revolver apart and do a really deep cleaning as apparently the previous owner (or the factory) decided to cover all the internals with grease that picked up tons of grit and sounded like sandpaper. Yep the revolver is ugly but the I care more about function then appearance.

You're not the first person I've encountered who had something to say about the internals of this gun. I hope yours is running well after deep cleaning. BTW - I think the gun looks cool. I'd love to pick one up.

I'm trying to make a custom gun, and the mechanics of this gun play a important role. Although, instead of trying to make all the parts, it might be easier to buy the gun, then make the frame and use the parts from this gun.

They are sort of like owning a mechanical watch. They are fun because they are too complicated.
