i have so many feelings about maze, she's my favourite lucifer character and i loved how the show delved further into her issues this season.

Maze always gets the short stick and it always breaks my heart. I love how you delved into her character's arc throughout the show.
She's my favorite character of the show. Her arc in season 5 hit me so hard, Maze is my weekness.

she's my favourite character on the show (together with Lucifer) and in S5 she was the most interesting to me, her whole abandonment issues thing is so important and I sympathise so much with her (maybe that's because I personally have some sort of abandonment issues as well). I just wish that more people would sympathise with her instead of saying that she backstabbed Lucifer, like I said hes one of my faves but he definitely got what was coming for him.
Facts! I love Lucifer, but he did so many sh*tty things to Maze without even thinking about how it might affect her.
@@em-pr5jv Exactly how was he supposed to know she was growing a soul? She was a demon made to serve him and she showed she could not be trusted with a secret.
She did a bunch of shitty things to him that she claimed was for him but was all about her.
He never purposely betrayed her.

I love Maze. Her character brings our strength and vulnerability at the same time in a remarkable way! Way to go! Maze!!!💖
I feel her on having the rage build up from pain that you had no choice in bringing bc you were too small to make the choice for yourself. Everyone expects you to just bottle it up and be fine. It's like shaking a champagne bottle up...eventually, you put enough pressure on there, it's gonna pop. There's two ppl on the entire show(besides Ella) who have truly been Maze's friend...Linda and Trixie. Both of them never asked her to be anything but who she was. I see in the 5b season that Eve's coming back ,and I'm glad..I hope they can work things out bc they seemed to really make each other happy. Maze's been the writer's whipping girl the past few seasons. She deserves a happy ending and a soul, goddamn it!
Great Video!! I Love Love LOVE Mazikeen!! She has so many layers. Maze is hurting. She is lost. You hurt the ones love the most. Maze cares about everyone so much, she just wants love and respect in return. She is always protecting everyone but no one goes out of their way for her like she does for them. I love the way u put this together for her!

Wait... So Lilith have up her immortality to walk among humans, and subsequently gave up being a demon to do so. Meaning, at the end of her life, Lilith was as much human as any other.
This means that she (probably) went to either Heaven or Hell. I like to think that, despite what Lilith said, seeing a grown-up Mazikeen after so many decades, after she abandoned Hell for Earth without so much as a goodbye, made her feel a little bit guilty.
Maybe Lilith's in Hell, not as a torturer, but as one of the tortured, because she saw Mazikeen. Maybe the guilt she felt over abandoning her daughter sent her down there. And maybe that means that Mazikeen can say what she wanted to say to Lilith when she was alive.
Sounds like rot to me.

Funny how so many loved her. She was one of the most annoying to me. She couldn't be trusted!
She had her moments though. Not a favorite.
Used to like her but now, NO. She back-stabs Lucifer and everyone in EVERY season.
But Lucifer DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN FOR HER! HE IS SO SELFISH and he only looks for her when he needs help and then he throws her away. HE IS A SH*T.
POOR MAZE, she has always been by his side and he never cares.
@@flx_res Ok so you need to understand that Lucifer does not lie. When she asked whether she could get a soul, Lucifer said no because he ACTUALLY thinks it is not possible. Not because he does not care about her. He left her and went to hell because Maze already HAD people who she cares about on earth so asking her to come along with him would be the selfish thing to do. Not because he doesn't care about her, but because he ACTUALLY does. He does not put her first, but you CANNOT say he doesn't care about her. He even said to her that she is not a servant anymore! What else do you need??!
Let's keep Lucifer apart.
Take Linda, Amanadiel, Trixie, Chloe... what did they do to her...??? They have ALWAYS been good with her (apart from Linda+Amanadiel thing which she doesn't mind at all now). She goes on and on hurting them ALL. I understand not being anyone's first choice. BUT that does not give her any right to HURT everyone around her.
I understood her betrayal in s3 and definitely sympathised with her. Her siding with Michael in the finale didn’t sit right with me either because while her anger at Lucifer is justified, I think she’s simply grown too much since s3 to betray Linda (and Amenadiel). Tbh I felt like her betrayal was just down to really poor writing.
@@MsSweetSerialKiller Exactly! I do blame the writers for that. By the end of S3 she was in a very good place but the writers keep making drastic and dramatic changes in her character and thought process which makes me upset!

Part of the “backstabbing” could be justified, see she doesn’t have a soul which is the main “problem.” And she was raised to torture, so she’s obviously not able to handle emotions well because she wasn’t raised with them. And obviously she’s a demon so she never had to care about anything other than torture. She’s projecting her feeling onto torture. And yea maybe it is also cus of the writers too but that’s the way I first thought of it after rewatching every episode the past month.
