During the Faded Love recording session, Patsy Clime was an emotional basket case. it took her 7 to 8 takes to get through the song as she was literally sobbing through every take. Her home life with Charlies wasn't a basket of roses. Faded Love was a very emotional song for Patsy to get through. Her marriage to charlie Dick wasn't the best at that time. plus she was having premoniitions of her own pending death she really didn't want to do the Kansas City benefit plus she was sick as well. The gasp you hear at the end was very real and very heartbreaking for her.
My goodness what a beautiful voice and beautiful song! Thank you Miss Patsy Cline and thank you to my grandmother for showing me the beautiful music of the 50s and 60s! 🥰🙌🏽
@@milssaarts8193 I don't know who's version is more emotional & heart wrenching than Patsy's was. It's just something about what she put into her songs that made them so...soulful.
@Mike583 I mean idk if it's her most beautiful song, there are a couple of Patsys that I think are better, I personally really like thr male version I heard growing up, not saying her cover isn't fantastic it's just a difference in opinion is all.
When I was growing up, my mom used to play Patsy Cline after I came home from school and I could remember her cleaning the house with Patsy's music playing in the background... sweet memories xoxo to you Mom
Hello I hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness, prosperity and love all over the world, i would love us to be good friends in honesty and in trust if you don't mind. I'm Doctor Christopher Johnson from Minneapolis, Minnesota and you where are you from if I may asked?
She had so many great songs, this is definitely one of mine. You & all the others, left us on my 10th birthday. That was 58 years ago, & it's still the saddest birthday of my life.💔
@@kiarakoo4220 It was devastating, country music was all mom & dad listened to. It was what I grew up on,until I got a few years older & started listening to other types of music also. We can't forget the other three people that also lost their lives on that fateful plane crash!❤❤❤❤💔💔💔💔
One of my favorites, as well. I've been listening to the distinctly one of a kind Ms. Cline since Walkin' After Midnight made her nationally known. It's amazing how quickly circumstances beyond our control can change our life. Though, you have a bond with Patsy through her unfortunate death, it's interesting that she often sang of loss, it seems to have made your love of her and her work greater than it may have been otherwise. Anyway, it's so good that her talent was recorded and is so available for us to hear as it helps to keep our love for her from fading. /:-)
Oh the days of the Jukebox! When you could play 3 songs for a quarter! And if you were lucky, you could get 3 slow dances with your lady!!💖 To all those AMAZING days we thought would last forever, how I miss them!!💕
It’s rare…..truly rare that a singer can take another artist’s song and stamp it the way Patsy Cline could. More than 60 years after her tragic death, she’s still the Gold Standard of singers.
Nobody but Patsy Cline could sing a song the way she did. Each song she sang was owned by her.
Nobody ever has come close to Patsy Cline
We Just Disagree, I just can't think of anyone.
( Dave Mason)
Never will 😢
She was and is the greatest female vocalist ever! This is before all the technology that make anyone sound good.
Amen. Vocal quality unmatched .
My god ! What a treasure we’ve lost…thankfully her music lives forever…😢 😢 😢
I love Loretta, Tammy and Dolly - but Patsy is in a class by herself!
Are you forgetting Brenda lee?

This woman really was something special
The best.
What a beautiful voice. She left us way to soon.
This song is famous because of the breath/sigh you hear at the end of the song. What few realize is Patsy was crying as she recorded this.
The ending of this song is wonderful.
WOW.
What!
My favorite of all time Countryside singers.

Decades later, her voice is still the best.
She will own this song for all time.

No one will never touch her voice the best
Every song Patsy made was great
It's hard to believe there's over 23k that listened to this, one of her most beautiful songs ever! Over 60k subscribers & only 414 likes! Why???
If folk would listen the whole thing, it would blow them away. The way her voice purposely cracks gets me every time. ❤️
Idk about most butiful but her cover is really good.

Better than than the original Bob Wills recording,
She was one of a kinda and will probably never be equaled. RIP Patsy!
Finally someone who makes sense in the Navy.

What's this silliness with the "twinkling eyes"?
Patsy doesn't need it.
OMG!! That is just creepy....Patsy does not need that!!!
Yeah the first time I saw that I was like wtf
Use to hold my cat when he got sick and sung I go out walking after midnight. He died from cancer.
Condolences on your loss.
A big Roll back of patsy cline keeping her music 🎶 alive is the best part of it all what a touching song for a throwback 🎼

The greatest singer this planet has ever produced.
I'm a good singer too !
@@MeadeSkeltonMusicmaybe, but not on this level 😂😂😂
@@lesliefuller1456 well I don't have all the backup musicians, thousand dollar studio equipment and a producer like Owen Bradley !
