Bro ong plus the way he curls up after smacking the ground hard asf
It will be our savior and our end..
For good reason, it has naturally learned how to move it's arms to counteract momentum, just like we intuitively learn to from falling frequently. It's not a preprogrammed movement but one that will react uniquely to each situation. Machine learning has become quite impressive, though it's still not true artificial human intelligence.
@@invertexyz it's def not machine learning. You need a lot of data to train an ML model, which kind of data do you have for balancing your center of mass? You can also program a search AI (A* probably) to accomplish the same task.
@@nabbikill It is machine learning, this has been a decades long training program... They started with much simpler robots to make it easier to train basic balancing and then slowly increased complexity of the system and interactions. This isn't an "artificial intelligence" any more than Tesla Autopilot is. ML isn't only trained by just feeding it a ton of data once, it can be an iterative process and indeed was actually the first path we took for training these things until someone decided to use it for things like art theft.
Also it's laughable to think you could use A* for this. As someone who has programmed A* systems, I don't think you understand how they actually work and how limited they are. A shortest path calculation has little to do with the mechanics involved here. You need a system that intuitively understands how to react under a multitude of rapidly changing variables, these reactions need to be generative, unique to every different precision difference in values. This is what ML shines at by having a weighted probability network.
Also this is mostly about semantics too, I don't consider something "AI" unless it can actually pass the Turing test and grow on its own without human intervention.
How cute and adorable. When it is painted Olive drab and has a 50 caliber in his arms, he's probably not going to be all that cheek-pinching cute as they are trying to portray here.😮😮
