Vivian Gornick: “Every writer writes about the people they know”

The New York-born writer Vivian Gornick talks about the creative process behind her autobiographical novel Fierce Attachments: A Memoir. Gornick reflects on the way literature, both fiction and non-fiction, feeds on personal life. Gornick is a renowned feminist activist who also addresses the development of the movement and its importance in her life. The writer was in conversation with the radio and TV journalist and scriptwriter Anna Guitart during the Primera Persona festival at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (May 2018).
