Not for lady gaga fans. These guys were so ahead of their time. Incredibly heavy stuff. It's called the American Burn, Hmmm....I mean these guys still are on top of my play list -- and we're talking 40 years.

The best Bloodrock LP. Sadly overlooked. Magic Man is the hidden classic.

Yes, yes and yes. USA was my introductory LP to Bloodrock. Magic Man is indeed a lost classic from these guys.

Either the record company gave the ok to steal licks and make songs from the bloodrock records or this band has the stolen licks Ive ever heard. Half the songs I grew up with are created from the licks of this band, its crazy

you guys need to listen to LPG by Lee Pickens. Its like classic Bloodrock with a higher pitched singer. Though I love the proggier jazzy turn the BR took. Notice how Kansas's Steve Walsh phrases his sining like Warren Hamm did on latter BR. (Warren played live with Kansas in the mid 80s on background vocs, flute, sax and Keys.) i actually recorded the Omaha concert that MTV showed. When MTV was great.)

So True. Lee's solo effort was classic BR X two. I talked to Lee and Stevie Hill about how Bloodrock was formed in 1968 in Ft. Worth, Texas a damn cowtown. Just a super band of talent and creativity.

Thank god for Louis J. Roney!!! The Godfathers Godfather who gets little to no credit for
inspiring a generation of Hard Rock and Psych nuts. He exposed Bloodrock and many others to San Antonio and a good portion of south Texas.
