I had the opportunity to play one of these older guitars from about 100 years ago. They sit differently and have a nice bark and twang. I almost wondered why that sound/ style of making guitar went out of fashion.
I love these old parlor guitars. Unfortunately more volume were needed back in the day and guitars got bigger.
Maybe all the songs back in the day were all in c major If i have to guess
They actually were, the other keys weren't invented until later.
