    Mate submitting makes me feel so nervous. This has helped me a lot. Think 2024 is the year I send some into psa.

      What do I write on the submission form when I’m doing combined submission? Where it says total number of orders in this package? Would I put 2 on each submission form?

    Perfect timing on this video! was just preparing my first PSA order. You say, "You can put the box in another bigger box". do you reckon that should always be the case? I was going to do a 35-card submission with AusPost and use one of their smaller express boxes with a lot of bubble wrap inside. I assume the safe the better, but interested on your thoughts. Also do you do any card cleanup/have any 'rituals' to try get a better grade? tabs/perfect centering in card saver/order of cards submitted. I've seen some CZcamsrs talk about this kind of thing.

    • @PokemonSteven
      @PokemonSteven  Před rokem

      I'm sure it will be fine, I just like to be overly cautious, bigger boxes are more expensive but likely a little bit safer :-)

    • @PokemonSteven
      @PokemonSteven  Před rokem

      I don't clean the cards, just wipe off any dirt or grime / fingerprints, and no rituals to get a better grade

  • @Doors067
    @Doors067 Před rokem +1

    I just go through sgc. I lose 25% on the profits but make up for it in turnaround time. I get 4-8 listings before I'd have my psa bulk back and have found my cards sell just as easily. I grade better then average cards though nothing under 20 dollars raw so not a play for everyone

    Thanks for the video Steve. Very helpful indeed. For EU would you ever suggest using Dave & Adams PSA grading service? It’s like $23 per card with $40 return shipping.

    • @PokemonSteven
      @PokemonSteven  Před rokem +1

      I would suggest doing the maths and figuring out how many cards sending yourself would make it worth it, but I'd always recommend just doing it yourself even if it was a bit more. For peace of mind.

    Submission price is the not dame as declaree value right? What if the declared value is over $1000
    Does that effect the import fees to Australia?

  • @tonezawesome4302

    Im in the process of submitting mine to PSA, the return shipping doesnt show Australia. Is that fine?
    Im paranoid some average Joe would look at the address and doesnt knnow what country to ship/deliver.

    Hi Steve, awesome video. I want to send about 120 cards for grading. Am I better to send small lots to keep them under $1,000AUD (but shipping will cost more), or can I put multiple submissions all under $1,000 in a big box? I want to avoid paying gst but at the same time I’m aware that the shipping fees will be more. Thanks!

    Does psa declare the value of the card by current listings or sold listings? I have some cards that have only listings over 500$, but theyve been selling for less than 500$.

    how do you declare the value if you ship the cards to the US? Do you have to fill out a CN23 form for customs declaration or is it not necessary?

      Hello, i just fill out a form on the auspost website, i declare my packages at $50-500 depending on how im feeling, but never anything higher. I believe lower value can keep them safer.. I talk about insurance later in the video, i hope that helps.

    Hey there! Thank you for the video, helped me understand all of the things about PSA grading how to ship and things. I have a few questions, I want to send 1 card (regular grading choice the one which is 25 dollars) and I want to send it by fed ex any idea on how much the shipping will cost for sending 1 card? And is the regular one 25 USD or AUD? I would like to know because i just got into collecting and I want to grade my 1st Pokémon card and you taught me how much it would cost and all the other information, thanks alot for the video!
