The simple thing can be difficult. I was there a year ago. We were trying to use the train and couldn't figure out the ticket machine & which train to take. We ended up in a taxi. I'm going back in a week. With your helpful viedo, I am sure I can take the train this time! Yay!!!
Rather than buying tickets I used to use the SBB iPhone app (there's a Andriod one too) You pay on that, then the app has a QR code to show any conductor checking tickets. In English, and can be done while waiting for your baggage...
During my first trip to Europe in the summer of 1977, I landed at Zurich airport, caught a shuttle to downtown Zurich, was enticed into a church in the town center by the sound of an organist practicing Bach, and in the darkness of the church I noticed a lighted sign on a side wall announcing a Herman Hesse exhibit (Hesse's manuscripts and watercolors) up a flight of stairs to a large brilliantly lit room illuminated by a skylight. Later that evening, I caught a train at the Hauptbahnhof to Rome.
There is a SBB Travelcenter inside the Airport with real People. The handle complex Travel routes to Nice or so. Of course yourstay in Gstaad or Saas Fee. There is no reason to use an expensive Taxi when you fail at the Automat for the Ticket.
We are leaving for Zurich in the next two months - this is such helpful information! Thanks so much.
Literally the GOAT

Next time ask a local. We're glad to help you. Did that several times in the past. Welcome to Switzerland.

If I want to go to BERN station, can I go this way? What platform number do I have to stand on?
