    What do you use to numb both open and closed skin?

    Love this easy line method, worked really well 🎉
    Got me thinking to do this with the outline for my brows. I’ve got a few tiny 7 microblades maybe good for this - would this work? I’m thinking a thicker day 14 so I can butt up against it easier 🤩
    Thank you I love your videos. 🙏🏻

      It's perfect for that. Just go nice and light. You don't want a thick line and only want it in the epidermis so it will heal out but it's a perfect way to not lose your shape

    Hi what red pen you’re using to do that design and keep it please

    Katie do you think this is a viable option for lower liner too or too dangerous with the microblade? I have a client I had to reschedule because we got her top liner done but bottom liner she was saying hurt so bad no matter how long I tried to let her numb on the bottom. Even with your method of holding the eye and applying the numbing on bottom lash line for a couple minutes to take the edge off, she said the pain was too much. Top liner went great. I rescheduled her to do bottom so we could let her numb longer in hopes it would help but I'm really at a loss with what to do to help her.

      Absolutely it can be. Everything that you do with a machine can be done by hand, it just isn’t always a good idea. Some people implant the entire liner in by hand such as SoftTap.

    Did you say you do this after your predraw but before you numb? Thank you 😊

    • @pmumentor
      @pmumentor  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes but you need to make sure that your numbing is suitable for bit open and closed skin. If not what I would do is use a pencil to draw your shape and then set it with powder and carefully numb on top so it doesn’t smudge, then blot it and use the microblade. I use this method for numbing lips (no microblade though, obvs 😄)

    Did you numb her before marking outline with microblade?

    • @pmumentor
      @pmumentor  Před rokem

      after in this case but you need numbing that's safe for open skin

    I had my eyeliner (partly) done today and it was over 3
    Hours of the worst parts of my life. I’ve been through six cancer surgeries and dozens of tattoos and nothing so bad as this. What did they do wrong? I’m supposed to go back to finish it in six weeks god help me.
    They switched artists after the first did an entire full pass on both eyes with zero pigment staying except for one wing, and I wasn’t numb hardly at all. It also felt like she was tickling my eyes a ton. The second person came in and scolded the first for doing a few things wrong, then hours of needles in my stil mostly unnumb jumping eyelids. They tried to numb but it didn’t work. It was torture.
