I say Travolta has one more blockbuster in him where he dances and reminds us all how fortunate we are to have a beautiful actor that's not afraid to put it all out on the dance floor.
He certainly does. I never particularly liked the twist but these two took it to a new level. Stunning movements, especially from Travolta. Love the serious expressions. Really suited the dance somehow. Uma Thurman's eyes looked so menacing😂.
Can never tire of watching this awesome clip!!❤ Looking through the comments here & seeing how many different languages & countries are represented proves the power of music & film can have over us regardless of where we are in the world.
I saw this movie at the cinema and it caught me completely by surprise, now it’s a favourite. At the time when John Travolta was getting up to dance I was imagining a bit of Saturday night fever and I was cringing. What we got was the epitome of cool and sexy. Took me from zero to 110 instantly. I won’t ever forget.
ah I’ve loved Travolta from Welcome Back Kotter alllllll the way up. And Uma is an incredibly talented acting chameleon. Both seem like genuinely kind and decent people, too.
I"m 62. My (former) Wife is turning soon,,, well.... to 60. She had one request, and an idea - lets dance together again this dance.... The best ever gift to me..... still have time to practice....
Thurman may be a good enough dancer, but Travolta is just in a class by himself. They do some of the same moves, but Travolta has the natural, instinctive timing and extra something of a natural born dancer. I couldn't take my eyes off him.
Both are just amazing. Their chemistry is off the charts and when it comes to Uma Thurman, think that she was Cecile de Volange in Dangerous Liaisons. Real actors are those who can display this variety of roles. I wonder how much impro was involved in this scene and how much rehearsal was involved.
I was never a big fan of Uma until I saw Hysterical Blindness where she shows such a lost vulnerable side that it brought me to tears. That was when I appreciated what a well rounded actress she is.
Oglądam mnóstwo razy i ciągle się zachwycam. Piękna scena , chyba jedna z najpiękniejszych scen w historii kina. Uma i Travolta są genialnie w rytmie najlepszego kawałka Chucka Berry. Będác dzieckiem dziesiatki lat temu tanczyłem do tej muzyki na scenie sali teatru Browaru Okocim. Rozdadzał mnie niczym nie stłamszony entuzjazm życia i energia muzyki Chucka. Boże Boże to były czasy w tej " komunistycznej" Polsce.
Every scene in this movie just oozes cool. One of the most iconic dance scenes in cinema history.

Damn!❤
Uma is and will always be awesome, John too!
One of the greatest scenes in cinema history. Bravo.
And copied from a famous Fellini scene from decades ago. In fact, Fellini’s “8-1/2” has an eerie feel to it.
Right on, man!
You are correct
I dont agree. The chariot race in ben hur means more then this silly shit.
@@carlaroden1902 What with the Ferrari in the background?
Iconic scene. The return of John Travolta to the dance floor and the big time…
Anytime John Travolta dances, pure magic!
He certainly does. I never particularly liked the twist but these two took it to a new level. Stunning movements, especially from Travolta. Love the serious expressions. Really suited the dance somehow. Uma Thurman's eyes looked so menacing😂.
John Travolta has rhythm, class and finesse, effortless dancing 🕺🏻
I feel so fortunate that I saw this , with these 2 awesome entertainers, in my lifetime. Thank you.
I LOVED this scene...TARINTINO IS A GENIUS!
Tarantino has the sense to listen to John Travolta when it comes to a dance scene. Hat tip.
So did I !!! Quentin Tarantino is a genius!! 👌💯
Iam 2
Even when he doesn't move - he's still dancing!

Can never tire of watching this awesome clip!!❤

I LOVE the way John Travolta moves.

John Travolta is mesmerizing on the dance floor. His facial expression makes the dance in this one.

THIS IS THE GREATEST DANCE DUET .CAN NEVER CAN RESIST LOOKING THESE 2 WONDERS . JUST IRRESISTABLE SCENE. KEEP DANCIN ❤❤❤😅
Sorry to disagree, but I only had eyes for Travolta in this scene. Thurman might not as well have been there, as far as I'm concerned.
I LOVED THIS SCENE!👍💃🕺

Love this iconic scene. ❤
20 times, at least!
Apart from anything else, great lyrics.
I loved this song a LONG time before the movie ever came out.
The song was 30 years old When the movie was made. Written in 1964.
The Great Late Chuck Berry! What a wordsmith he was, this man could Rock the Joint.!
CORRECT THE BEST DUO EVER ON VIDEO. TRIPLE BRAVOS..
Thurman may be a good enough dancer, but Travolta is just in a class by himself. They do some of the same moves, but Travolta has the natural, instinctive timing and extra something of a natural born dancer. I couldn't take my eyes off him.
This is my wife and mine family party piece we’re in our 70s but still get a standing ovation
Good for you,I would certainly like to see you doing this. Just keep going your making the whole world happier place❤😅❤😅😅
Time to watch this movie again.
Just thinking the same.😅
Same here
Catch him in Michael

Uma should have gotten more kudos.
I would like to think Tarantino just wound them up and let them go

Love how their dancing The Swim with hands~fingers across faces, pure performance 🎭 ART!
@@KittyGrizGriz That's called "The Batman" because Adam West did it first.
I simply adore❤❤❤❤❤
I challenge anyone to sit still while watching this all time great scene...
Me encantó ésta peli. La hermosa Una, y Travolta . Los dos, batieron records. Éso s movimientos.... Íconos, y hermosos los dos
timeless.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Uma is my favorite! Starting with Kill Bill! I don't think anyone could have played this role better!
I was never a big fan of Uma until I saw Hysterical Blindness where she shows such a lost vulnerable side that it brought me to tears. That was when I appreciated what a well rounded actress she is.
There are no words to describe this ,,,, yeh there is ! Feking EPIC
I remember watching in the theater when this came out. It was the first time Travolta danced onscreen in 15 years and the audience was keenly aware.
Her hair is awesome here 👍🏻👍🏻
No idea this was a Chuck Berry song! Awesome song and Awesome dance!
She was SMOKING HOT! 💥❤️
Just wonderful!!!
