- Huh I really do make animatics just to make people cry, don't I? I am four for four for sad Hamilton videos lol. This one's probably not as sad though, I had a bit of trouble coming up with ideas since the lyrics didn't particularly invoke too many thoughts in me.
Ngl I'm not very happy with the second half of this, I think I might've gotten a bit lazy cause some frames are definitely w o n k y. I did not do Lafeyette justice but oh well lmao. Hope you enjoy!

I've seen this opinion a lot across CZcams because of the line "I have so much work to do" he was always a workaholic so I don't think Laurens's death made him not take a break. But if you have another reason to think this instead of the line "I have so much work to do" please let me know!

@@oliviag469 from a perspective of a workaholic myself, though we do enjoy doing a shit ton of work usually we also use our work as a coping mechanism which is why our stress or woes are often unnoticed. I won't say Laurens is the reason of Hamilton's spiral, but it's definitely a defining factor.

@@MissChangeALot He actually did know Hamilton cuz they lived together for a short time when Hamilton first game to New York. He did eventually meet Lafayette but I don't think he ever meet Laurens

Holy macaroni you are underrated- you put more emotion into your animatics than I think anybody ever did back when the fandom was really thriving. I love how you really showed how much Lauren’s wanted slavery to be done for, you really showed that, that line is really overlooked.

When Laurens says 'Tomorrow there'll be more of us' while he was cupping Phillips cheek, I feel like the meaning behind it is that even though he died his sacrifice made it to where Phillip would someday help move the country forward during its early years. Which connects to dear Theodosia when burr and Hamilton sing about how their kids will 'come of age with our young nation '. Even if he doesn't know that God plans to bring Phillip home sooner than expected, he was more than happy to die for him to live in a free country as we r today.

For real tho, there was no doubt that Laurens was absolutely gay and many historians including Lin manuel miranda are saying that Alexander Hamilton was bi, and that he loved, not as much as Laurens loved him, but still, he genuinely cared for him.

Every time i watch these animatics of Lauren's death, it reminds me of when i moved away from where i was best friends with a guy since kindergarten.
