In case you didn’t know by now, they used exactly the same body as the upscale version, you can remove the “Glacier” sticker in the tailgate for a nice surprise….
This is a great little truck the rims and wheels can be upgraded to the axial scx24 1.0 wheels. They are a bit saller but more to scale and look great on this. I did notice the price went from 118.00 to 149.00 in the U.S.
Luckily, I bought 2 before Amazon did thier price hike.

Nice looking pickup, the electronics a little lacking, but with some upgrading it could make a nice scale truck. Could do with a good bit of weathering and some realistic accessories and that would transform the look. Good review. 👍
I got it back when it first came out when it was cheaper took it out crawling a bunch I love it its really nice i kinda want the fms one too but i have so many micros now haha need another 1:10 next I think.. nice review and run 👍

Nice I love the look of both trucks but for the price & from how it performed I’d take the Easy RC Glacier. It actually performs well & not just a shelf queen!

such good value for money especially for me who like to fully mod and upgrade to make proper scale trucks, makes more sense than paying a lot more for the fms model where most things about it will be changed, but even as just value for money as is its really good, add a beter motor in there, change how the lighting is plus add some more front weight on that and its perfect really

You know.... If you peel the Glacier sticker off the back of the tailgate, the word Chevrolet is imprinted on it? Apparently this is because it is the same shell, FMS is the parent company of EazyRC, it's their budget version but not good enough to be licensed so they covered the imprint with a sticker hahaha.

Really nice scaler, but they screwed us with the 5 wire servo
I think this chassis, in all its iterations, is the best in its price range. I like the Jeep and Toyota FJ myself. But I can understand everybody going crazy over this pickup truck. I have RocHobby and FMS versions, and frankly, other than lighting, I cannot tell the difference from EazyRC. I am not a crawler. For anyone interested in trail running (OK, maybe trail trotting), the EazyRC electronics and motor can take a 3S lipo without burning up. I have NOT tried this with RocHobby or FMS electronics. 3S will probably wear out my motors faster, but spare motors are actually available! And the added speed and torque might even help a crawler... Just don't use a big battery (450mAh gives me over an hour of full throttle runtime). Keep the mass down, and the plastic will last...
The difference between the EAZYRC and FMS is noticeable when driving them next to each other… but not sure it warrants the big price difference

@@TomleyRC there is but not much I'm sure. Why they do that to the lights is a mystery, very off putting either on/off or on all the time.

SCX24 is the best but this is better than the MN 👍
Seems to run pretty well, considering that it's a cheaper version and a hard body to boot Phil.

Its nice looking but i just dont buy into the 1/18th crawlers, to small, even my smallest, the FTX LC 1/16th struggles a bit

I agree, this scale is more of a toy hobby. I always stick with 1/18 or 1/10 for scale crawling.
