She even gave him tipps on how to actually make sure a hostage doesn't escape, like taking away their clothes, making sure that always multiple people are guarding them in the same room, surch them for tools they could use, binding both legs and arms and break them and many more crule things like blinding them. She is pretty cool and I love her brother in law who is very precious.

@@ram47863 Actually, she doesn't have a father figure. She stayed with us(in our house) for 2 years when we were in high school since her mother is a problem back then too. Maybe, it really stems from trauma and lack of parental figures that she can lean on younger years as to why she is like this right now.
After that she even give a lesson to him about how you should keep someone as a prisoner.

MANGA/ANIME SPOILER: ( based on reading 25 chapters of the manga)
Theodore actually has no problem with Rishe, he just feels that Arnold does not acknowledge him at all. However, Arnold does this to protect Theodore from harm since Theodore has no intention to obtain the throne and he would rather remain with his friends from the slums/underworld. Theodore also begins to get quite close with Rishe as the story progresses since she provides a safe space for Theodore to address his feelings towards Arnold. Theodore tries to commit suicide prior to this this conversation between him and Arnold but is saved from his attempt to the jump off the balcony by Arnold himself.

Watched the anime for Arnold and Rishe, but fell in love with Theodore 🥲✨
This episode just made me realize how during this time Xie Lian must have watched his people grow and change without him as he trained LQQ to become a good leader for the people. It really made me think of how Xie Lian might have felt during this time. I feel like his expression always had at least a bit of sadness or thinking during this time.
