It has 3 huge hydrogen tanks. One beneath the driver cabin, another below passenger seat, and another below the trunk. It also makes less power compared to IC engine and EVs. It's replacing nothing

cost of Hydragen is very high compare with petrol and EV. if the cost of Hydrogen is minimised, it will become popular.
Hydrogen can't replace existing fuel and ev. Hydrogen can't be compressed. So it will require larger fuel tank. Same problem like we have CNG tanks. Secondly electrolysis is more expensive process. Electric and petrol hybrid will be really good replacement.
Kudos to toyota engineers hope this will come soon in india, electric vehicles are just a gimmick to our ecosystem

Ji… is patent being filed, if so for how many years. What’s the cost to buy those patent? After finding a huge mountain of Lithium in our country, will this be technology be viable? One KG of hydrogen is 300, but manufacturing and maintenance…it will be more costly. This cannot be transported like lpg.

Hydrogen fuel cell is ntg but a type a battery instead changing and recharging it will generates the power by hydrogen + O2 in a chamber .......but hydrogen is widely available even thoe pure form of hydrogen is expensive and it's dangerous to store hydrogen as it is highly flammable as per the books😅.............anyway ....its like a mini power plant in a car...definitely it will be a great success but that team is overcoming many kind drawbacks.........hope we get eco-friendly cars at low price to all.....hope it lets see
This is not a hydrogen fuel cell brother. Hydrogen fuel cell tech is already available in the Japanese market. They are trying to build hydrogen internal combustion engine
No need to wait for charging. Pressurised hydrogen can be filled in minutes. Guess toyota is only researching !
