I cannot believe the day finally came! I finally got my short, white coat. I'm officially a student doctor!!!! AHHHH! So happy to share this moment with all of you. Thank you to all of you for supporting me during this journey to get here AND BEYOND! :D I cannot wait to continue sharing my medical school experience with all of you!

So I’m in PA school and I have a white coat ceremony story I’ll never forget. So at my school we get our coats 2 months into school (varies by each PA school). So we ordered them at the beginning of school. 2 months later we didn’t have them. We had a class of 53. 12 students got theirs. Our program director was trying to figure out where they were and she would have driven to get them. So we had to use the class above us, their coats. So my pics of you zoom in, has someone else’s name. Someone in my class thought of.. if we use our stethoscope, it covers the name somewhat. So in my pics I have my stethoscope. The ceremony was on Friday.: we got our coats Monday. I’m like are you kidding me. It’s okay though. In clinical year now and its worth it.

Hey I don’t know what kind of doctor you are becoming but thank you. Thank you for committing your life to helping others. As a cancer patient I have had two Doctors in particular save my life by taking extra time with me and getting to the bottom of my issue. I had a blood cancer and I am in remission after a transplant. You are beautiful and I can tell you are going to be an amazing doctor! God bless you!
