1080° Avalanche is a snowboarding video game developed by Nintendo's in-house studio NST and released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2003. The game is a sequel to the Nintendo 64 title 1080° Snowboarding and builds on its predecessor's gameplay and features.
In 1080° Avalanche, players take on the role of one of several snowboarders, each with unique stats and abilities, and race down treacherous mountain slopes. The primary focus is on high-speed racing, where players must navigate through various obstacles and perform tricks to maintain speed and gain an advantage over their competitors. I had that game as a kid but didn’t play much of it because I was so attached to Ssx. I felt the Ssx series had better controls and it flowed more smoothly than 1080. But 1080 was still solid.
Oh I absolutely loved SSX. SSX tricky was insane! The crazy over the top moves and even music!

Not to be confused with the Atari Jaguar's version...Checkered 1080! .....low frame rate, low polygon count, horrendous controls....best snowboarding game of all time! Lol on a serious note, good score!
