They had a decent song tho not nearly as good as de piepte. This is just music style that touches only some people. Unfortunately pure talent isnt what people seek these days.
The people's voting is definitely manipulated. Giving Serbia, Moldova and Ukraine those high points, there is something wrong either in the people (or else it is just taken over by the Eastern block). Then a song like this didn't get the deserved votes.

This is my second favourite song in ESC of all time (first being ESC 2018 Greece Oniro Mou). It's a beautiful and emotional song indeed. The song is not about a bf that died. Literally, it's about reaching out to a loved one from the deepness inside and not wanting to let them go. The idea behind the song is that it's a ode / love letter to the lonelyness and darkness inside all of us. When we are listening to this song together, we share the same feeling and feel less lonely. All songs of S10 are about psychological and emotional struggles, but very beautiful.

Yeah it's not harsh when you drop (non silent) consonants from words completely, half pronounce words, and make native speakers require subtitles to understand parts of it. This can barely be called Dutch, this is some made up artistic dialect.

We hebben nog steeds goede mensen nodig uit Polen. Ik ben een geboren en getogen Nederlander, maar ik ben aangenaam verrast hoe sommige Polen een mooi leven hebben opgebouwd in ons kleine West Brabantse dorp. Sommige spreken fantastisch Nederlands en hun kids groeien hier op. Best trots op. Inmiddels hebben we Poolse vrienden en kennissen volop. Zo veel verschillen we niet.

The Netherlands really became a Eurovision powerhouse! UK & Germany should take notes
We were like the UK and Germany in the years 2000-2012, only difference is that we don't belong to the Big Five (we're the sixth biggest contributor, yeah), so we didn't even qualify for the finals all these years. But since Anouk, The Common Linnets and Duncan Laurence we've woken from our sleep! We took it seriously again, and I'm glad we did.
I hope Germany does. The Problem is that the NDR who this year discribed the songchoice fitting as "radiofriendly" choses the songs like that every year, but Esc isn't about Radiofriendly. It is something most of Germans complain about every year since NDR took over the choice, and they just don't take criticism seriously. This year out of 950 acts they chose around 30 from which they decided 6 Germans could vote for in a TV show which all were Popsongs but they titled it as diverse because some of the artists had an multicultural background, there was one german song and it was female and male artists mixed - You get the problem. There even was a petition started to get another act in the TVshow from that everyone knew that it got in the Top 30 by Electric Callboy (We got the moves, or similiar) but the NDR just didn't care. It is really frustrating. The only thing good about this years choice is that the only german song didn't win because the text was bullshit, they changed it last second, one of the artists had a critical background and about how they were shown and treated in comparison to the other contestants you could tell the NDR wanted them to win no matter what.
the smoothness from her voice is impressive, not difficult to be captivated during the video that seems to be a short film that declares the complexity of breaking up and not wanting to move on, she pours perfectly those sad feelings from her voice and interpretation, bravo 👏🏼 12 points to the Netherlands 🇳🇱

Not only my favorite Eurovision song, but also my favorite song in general. I just love everything about it. And I do not even speak dutch. Stien is really charismatic and has an amazing voice, which is why I was attached to this song right away. I also started following her music outside of Eurovision and I love her unique style of doing music and how she expresses herself in the songs. Very grateful that Eurovision introduced me to her. I will travel to the Netherlands next year to see her live, I can´t wait. Much love from Germany!
