You guys realized that if DGD got Kellin, they'll adjust to his voice. That's what this band is good at. Look how they adjusted to the previous vocalists they had.

Kellin's voice just doesn't fit though, like at all. I could listen to any of Kurt, Johnny and Tillian's DGD albums and they all fit and work. But not Kellin. He is a good singer but not for DGD.

Kurt was so obviously the right choice for the band even if I like other stuff KQ does.

bro you just awakened some deep memories I had with this song. For the longest time I've had it on my phone since high school days (10 years ago), listening to it along many other post hardcore bands. The thing is I had already forgotten about it, I just could remember vaguely that it used to be a cover made by kellin but I was trying to remember which song was it based off. Funny part is, I was (and still am) a big dgd fan back in the day but for some reason I forgot the song was a cover of a dgd song, a very well known one lol.

A lot of people are saying that Kellin wouldn’t of fit dgd but I disagree. I think kellin has the vocal talent to shift to different work like this, doesn’t mean that I think kurt johnny & tillian aren’t good or amazing because they’re the dgd we know today but I think people are bashing this too hard saying that it doesn’t fit him
He's one of the few people that could hit the notes of a lot of the Tilian era songs without them having to downtune. He sounds terrible here though

It'd be kinda crazy if* Kellin came back and filled the void of Tillian now that he's out. There's not many ways GDG can go any higher I think, but that'd be 1 way I think. I know they have Andrew now and he could certainly step up, but if they instead had him for "lower" octave singing and Kellin was doing the higher range vocals that seems wicked.
