One thing i know about purple blaster is that it dries out rubber en plastic components. It wil make rubber crack and break off. So its better not to let it stay long on it

Bought my FS280k well used over 25yrs ago running beautifully . It's never let me down . Although I loaned it to a mate who brought it back saying " I've adjusted the settings for you " . .Yeah he'd done that alright , right out of kilter. . . This is the first maintenance vid on the FS280 I've come across . I've never found out what difference there was between the 280 and the 280K .
