    I love the jobs when things are stuck and difficult chance to get the big toys out of their boxes and have a play. I have a forty ton hollow ram cylinder that makes pulling bushings a breeze. It also does a great job of pulling stuck injectors out like carrots out of a sandpit!

    I need this done to my International. It appears the International Airliner and Freightliner Airliner are one and the same and use the same pins and bushings. I have a feeling that buying this tool, pump, and fittings would cost way too much for a one time use so I need to find a shop that has these tools already in Indiana to do this for me.

    How did you get the two bolts out that hold the bushing to the hanger itself? I am working on a 94 fld120 and I can not bust those lose with anything I have? I have put a 3/4 drive breaker and cheater pipe on them and I have used an 1100ft lb impact and they aren't budging. The nuts came right off

    • @TigerTool
      @TigerTool  Před 6 lety +4

      Hey Andrew, have you tried using heat and then an impact wrench? The hanger is aluminum so it corrodes pretty bad with the bolts. You could also try heat and then an air hammer as well.

      VGAPR Garage you don't want it to be lubed. You want it right tight and dry. The Bushing should not move once set. Using lube will cause it to move, and possibly begin corrosive breakdown of the isolation bushing.

      These manufacturers often choose different suspension designs for their vehicles based on a variety of factors, which can include both threaded and rubber-isolated pins.
