Only racing game that included motorcycles and was cool is Midnight Club and it’s gotten old. There just isn’t many motorcycles street racing games or ones where we have Cars & bikes alike.

The dev team is great, the game is..good. ish. absolutely predatory monetization styled after mobile games, new players get boned bad, and there's no real endgame and basically nonexistent teamwork.It's like a slightly better Diablo but with timegates and resource gates.

They said there is no connection, it's a reference but that's it.
I think when Whispers in the Wall update came, they said this is what they hoped Dark Sector would have been.

I hope the Motorcycles can be alternate transportation to the K-Drives outside of the 1999 world, or at least a reskin option.
I'm more of a motorcycle rider than a skateboarder.
Those bikes look like a Yamaha R6 but with a livery similar to the Suzuki Hayabusa, both sports bikes from the late 90s and early 2000s.

Well we got to use Kaithes in the origin system so I assume we can use the bike too.
Well, Reb said "...like any other worlds..." we can summon the atomicycles whenever we want. So basically they are the open-world mounts like the Kaithe and the K-drives.

Just started Warframe up again after a year or so off... doing Orowyrm and Circuit for Incarnons (just found out about activators today and grinded out all 10 levels in Steel Path in about 5 hrs, didnt think I'd accomplish this)... having some fun, again after my 4000 hr burn out.

They've been making the same game since Dark Sector. Not for me, but wish them the best. Edit, get Suda51 involved and I think they could really take it to the next level. So far, this is just a shiny PS3 game... and that is fine.

Dark Sector never died. They just strapped it to Warframe. This studio just keeps adding to the game. There's probably over 5 in here, more if you include the arcade games and FrameFighter.

Haven't played Warframe in a while, this really looks like a big step up in the environment design, looks amazing! The motorcycle drifting was sick too. This is based on the original Warframe concept right? I seem to remember there was a prototype or whatever with early warframes?
I stopped playing this around 2 years ago. This update will bring me back. I got into Warframe too late and didn't really understand anything. The Community is great though and are willing to help.

Can someone explain to me how this connects to lore? I thought warframes were created much more later than 1999 and it was some warhammer level of epicness event like War in the Heaven.

@Strykerx31 I can see that. The First Descendants monetization and drop rate is what is keeping me from playing. Even the open world and enemy density are sub-par. Things must change in this industry. I haven't played Warframe in years, but I appreciate the agency they gave us as gamers.
