Then the truth why it was re-uploaded Histuji was gone, He delete his Piapro, He deleted His twitter and Even Deleted his niconico and youtube. I found more of his re-uploaded songs and honestly it was kind a bop and beautiful. It's so sad to see him go cause I didn't know him yet :'( When people found out that this animation means that all vocaloid songs deleted and lost I kind of have a feel that this is a memorial of the songs that been actually deleted even if it's re-uploaded it still wasn't the original source... The music playing by Miku the music when Niconico has en error or deleted and the 404 Graves meaning the songs have been lost to time or deleted and it turned into lost media... and worse that I thought if this Includes Vocaloid P's as well? some Vocaloid P's lost to time and their songs turned to lost media, it's kind of sad... like Imagine you find a song that it's very good for you but you realize it was an re-upload so you wanna follow or find the artist whp created it but you realize the artist is deleted, that if you wish to go back in time where the artist was not deleted at the time because their songs was so good :'(
@lemonssssssss4 What the producer thinks is irrelevant to the relationship the listener has with the music. You can accept that someone quit but that doesn't make their deleted songs magically reappear. Normal people get sad when they can no longer listen to a song they loved. That's why it's wise to backup this stuff.
I don't play the recorder, personally, but just looking at Miku's fingers and how they add up to the sound makes me think this is actually accurately animated? Which is just so amazing it blows my mind
Even knowing more about niconico and the reason why this video was made, this has become THE most haunting vocaloid-related video, after knowing the context of the song, paired with the otherwise silent clip. This is silly but chilling to me. I love this.
Man, so many songs that get deleted after a lot of time passes be it because the artist channels get striked for random reasons like a cover they made 6 years ago when just starting, or the uploaders decide they don't want to be tied to Vocaloid when moving to a different medium or feeling like people are only appreciating the Vocaloid and not them and so just purge the channel to get rid of the "X"-P, then start to use their own name or a pseudonym that puts them in front, instead of the "Miku hatsune feat Producer" like you normally see in english and spanish Subs. This video hits me hard. I remember when Hazuki No Yume's channel closed down and a lot of my playlist pretty much just vanished. Still a lot of songs I can't find that I enjoyed. I think it took me a year to even find 164 because you know how hard it is to find an artist whose name is literally just *3* numbers and you don't remember which vocaloid sung what song?! and Mer took me like 3 years.
I'll never forgive mao sasagawa for deleting his VOCALOID songs and basically pretending that part of his life never happened. Way to spit on the people that genuinely loved his music.

Reminds me of 2006/2009 Internet, some of the websites I visited and some of the CZcams videos I watched as a kid are now very likely gone forever. The memories will never fade though. ❤
I got into vocaloid in 2021 mainly through Orangestar and I feel like that guy who got the party hours wrong because the hype around it peaked almost a decade ago.
VOCALOID is still very popular, but in a different way than the early Niconico days of creation for the sake of creation. The community is still fun, just less... 'pure'. You can see it in how many views covers get and how viral they go on JP TikTok. The moment a VOCALOID song starts to make numbers everyone runs to make a cover and fish for views. Also, a lot of people start their music careers specifically as vocaloPs knowing VOCALOID has better chances at getting them attention, then after some time they start posting songs with human vocals too, or maybe they outright start out with both a VOCALOID and a human version of the same song. The ones that annoy me are those producers that very obviously try to sound like what's trendy and popular. Even worse when they try to make a hit song by essentially ripping off other vocaloPs. (The other day I found a song that was basically just phony and KING mashed together... Like dude, at least have some pride...) With all that said, there are many, many cool producers out there, even if they don't get tons of views, so don't hesitate to dig around, make underrated discoveries and support your favorites. If you just genuinely love music, 'hype' is the last thing you'll care about. ✌️
I feel you, I've been a vocaloid fan almost since the beginning, and while it's not dead, it really changed over time. Now then, I got into kingdom hearts series last year and I get the same impression
Something I really really respect is how even if the character is far away, Avogado animates even the little details, from the precise finger placement, to the little breaths Miku takes. Love is all in the details
All the times I've went back to a song only to be greeted with this tune... It's even worse when it was obscure and unarchived, lost to the passage of time in the infinite depths of the internet
