    Robert legal limit is 250w motor giving pedal assistance up to 15mph in uk , not sure if new bikes are allowed throttle, bikes made before a certain year were allowed them , any way they are great tools for for getting about on if your a certain age 🚵🏿👍 (ps you can hack the speed by changing the wheel size,or get into the controller)

      As the wheels are already pretty small I doubt changing the size on the controller will make much difference. 20" to 16". Of course there might be other ways to hack a bit more speed from it.

      Listen nobody cares so long as you arent tearing up the street at 30 plus miles an hour. I've been riding an A20 and Fiido L3 for a long while now. Both 350w motors. Both can go 21mph plus. No problems from anyone.
      If you were on an electric motorbike that can do 30 plus mph. And you dont have a license and all the rest. Then you are likely to get pulled up and problems.
      With a ebike. Once they see the pedals. They dismiss it as just another bike straight away.

The battery is a 3d design, lots of active material paste spread into carbon felt air filter. Please let me know what you think, I don't think many homemade batteries reach the capacity I accomplished! And it's all thanks to you! (PS, we have talked before, my name is also Robert!)

    Be careful Robert 350 watt motor and a throttle if you say you have riden it on anything other than private land you are admiting to a motoring offence live on youtube especially if you hack it to go faster. As it stands out of the box it is classed as an electric motorcycle and needs registering taxing and an aproved motorcycle helmet.
    I don't agree with the laws on these but they are the laws

    • @perpetual4958
      @perpetual4958 Před 2 lety +1

      More like electric Moped. if it is over 4KW continuous power it would classify as a motorcycle. At least i presume UK hasn't changed rules from the EU ones since Brexit.
      They may also classify it as an speed-pedelec, stil requires license, insurance and an helmet.

      But one thing for sure it won't be classed as Pedelec 😀
