My Older Brother George Junior was 2 back then, born in 1966, and this commercial came out 2 YEARS before I was born in 1970, when GM Ruled! My FAMILY is still a Loyal GM Family! We have always owned Chevrolets, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Buicks, Cadillacs, and GMCs! My Relatives have always bought GMs Too! My Father had and I still make parts for GMs, Fords, and Chryslers at the same auto parts plant in the Same Town In Canada where we live! I have always owned Chevrolets: 3 MONTE CARLOS: 1976 LANDAU,1997 LS , & 2000 SS! 2 IMPALAS: 2004 LS & 2006 SS! 1 BERETTA: 1995 SS 3.1 LITRE V6, AND NOW I OWN & DRIVE A 2015 CAMARO 2LS SPORT COUPE WITH A 3.6 LITRE V6 ENGINE, MY LUCKY #7 CAR! I am very surprised at him the very good marketing in the commercial ... the good body language when the model tells the man that he forgot something, that we must return ... the gesture of the man who answers that there is no problem ..wao .. without listening to the word, we understand the whole plot of the commercial ... the fashion and the background music that was a style of the time ... from 0 to 100 points I give them 500

There’s something stylish about that Impala and any other car,style!! I agree with the person who mentioned about new cars at introduction time, it was like opening night, when they had the lights, the paper covered windows but yeah, new cars come out whenever
Good looking car....But that cheap ass belt line molding sucks.Always looked cheap....And it was standard on Impala....If you wanted a '68 full size Chevy without it you had to either downgrade to a Bel Air or Biscayne or upgrade to a Caprice.Bad decision on Chevys part.Otherwise good car.
Back in this period, the 1960's and early 1970's, mood music using Harpsichords always gave you a feel of luxury.......I just love that sound......

That was my 68 same color same engine awesome car.
Those shoulder belts were mounted on the ceiling of the car. I'm pretty sure they didn't do much good in an accident. But the car itself was gorgeous.
