Also love wearing polos as a way to dress down "formal wear". Not a big fan though of the regular once that you find most places, something doesn't really work for me with their collar and/or fabric.
As a personal preference I always go for either a shirts-like collar (preferable a button down collar) or finer knit polo with a fly-away collar (collar over the jacket lapel), I know not for everyone but it fits with my style :)
Yes! Knit polos are elite. I have been adding a lot more knitwear to my wardrobe recently.
