when u said full blade, ur blade needs to be submerge even down lower, for what u did is still considered as shallow water. And ur rowing arm is too near to the blade. gotta move higher up in order to have a deeper catch

yep, also should pull out a bit sideways to avoid drag and not straight up which is slower
