Andrew and Sarah were great in this 😂 I'm actually amazed to see that they gave two featured players their own sketch for a season premiere! Andrew is hilarious

Chris Redd's "I don't mind" made me spit out my drink, the cast this season is doing phenomenal so far! Although, I do really miss Beck, he'll go on to do great things I just know it !

Beck had the same loud angry voice in several sketches. I’m surprised he lasted as long without demonstrating variety in character. Plus he made room for some new talent!

I want to see how far they will allow Sarah "Sherman" Squirm to push the envelope. Anyone aware of her roots in writing for The Eric Andre Show and her live performances already know she goes places most are not willing to go. So excited to see what she will bring to the table!
Historically, snl is not the best place to push the envelope as that’s what got the late, great Norm fired!

over the last few years SNL has booked comedians I had followed for years that I always thought were funny and subversive only to completely water them down and give them awful material. I’m hoping Squirm doesn’t suffer that fate

I think they found two people they have a lot of confidence in because of their comedic backgrounds. I say two because I'm not sure about the third new cast member yet. The guy that was in this skit as the "take two" guy. But we'll see what he can do.
It's one damn episode, let's not assume this season will be any good.
They’re also probably writing their own sketches. You have to write your own sketches if you want to perform; well…depending in Lorne thinks it’s funny.
Aristotle still didn’t get a lot of screentime in this episode sadly

A pitch: do another Whiskers-R-We sketch with Sarah Sherman as the other old lady.
But the whole point of that sketch is the host is one of the two people.

The actor who holds the 🎬 thingy is so good. I loved his sketch as the eccentric singer with Ramy Malek. He is handsome in an odd, pointy way. 🧛🏻♂️ 🧿🧛🏻♂️
the tone of this season is good so far, i think most of the comedians are on the same page for the tone of show- which is A LOT different to how SNL was a couple seasons ago where the humor was a very mixed bag with different types of humor
Looking forward to Rami Maleks. Since Daniel Craig is not doing it again lol to promote No Time to Die. Which is a interesting twist.

I think Sarah Sherman has potential to be a good SNL cast member for a long time. There have been many mediocre ones in the past, but she has talent and could give us memorable characters.
When she started off with “wowww” I thought she was mocking Owen 😂

Sarah gave us the "wow" we were looking for.
It was the funniest part of the episode, but supposedly SNL routinely cuts sketches that are too funny (especially near 1 a.m.), because they don't want viewers at home laughing too hard they wake their kids up. That's why this sketch was so surprising.
These new cast members are really impressive. Reminding me of when Kristen Wiig came on and stole the spotlight day one. Exciting to see because we’re about to lose lots of veterans 😢😢😢

This was my favorite sketch of the night. I don't know if it was because they kept referring to it as stool, or because the creepy mailman was definitely in on it.
All the weirdest sketches end up at the end of the show- usually my favorites. This one has great meme potential in the future!
