Zhou Shen's absolutely a great story teller in his songs. His English, Chinese (both Mandarin & Cantonese) and Japanese singing are all very incredible! 💖 And, I never doubt his French, Italian, Russian, Ukraine and Polish pronunciation as he's studied belcanto in Ukraine where he learned. He made & uploaded such a 9 languages song by himself years ago in internet platform. Great job!
When he finished the song, he kept reminding fans to bring back all their belongings & back home safe. What a funny & caring super star! 💖
Yes, he remembers the lyric in all 9 languages. He speaks Chinese, English, Russian, Ukranian language, Polilsh. As a belle canto singer, he needs to sing in Italian and French. He also sung in Cantonese, a Chinese dialect that he does not speak. He learned Japanese by himself. He also sang many Japanese songs which native Japanese speakers commented that his pronunciation is also impeccable.
Zhou Shen sang the theme song "let it go" of "Frozen" in nine languages. The video appeared in sequence: English, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Polish, Cantonese, Ukrainian, French, and Italian.
He studied classical music so he learned Italian & French. Some of his classmates & teachers spoke Polish so he learned it too. He learned Japanese by himself.

Shen Shen nailed all 9 languages with distinction, if not a hundred percent. There are regional accents even in all languages, so he has done an outstanding piece of art. To tell you additional information, Shen Shen first creatively sang this version of 9-language 'Frozen' back in 2014. 😏😏
When he performs, he gives 100% to his performances… He do all researches to have a very good performances….
When he was young ,he studied dentistry in Ukrainian and then transferred to music, this why he can speak Ukrainian and Russian

Yes he is a very funny and adorable guy!
Zhou Shen has admitted in interviews to be conversationally fluent in Chinese (Mandarin), English, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, and Italian. He learned Russian and Ukrainian in order to attend college in the Ukraine, and also picked up Polish while there because many of his peers spoke it. Italian was a required language for him to learn as a part of his major in Bel Canto.
In more recent interviews, he has said that some of his language ability had degraded due to long term disuse. But as recently as this March, he wrote the Ukrainian & Russian lyrics for his version of the Chuang 2021 theme song and sang it, so those two can't have "degraded" too much. He's often sang English songs, so that ability seems to have improved if anything. He hasn't sang much in Italian (since attending Super Vocal in 2018) or Polish though, so not sure where he stands there.
For Japanese, he has only ever been on record as having learned the basic pronunciations on his own. Some fans suspect he has been improving in it though, since he was seen doing some translations for the Japanese students when he served as a mentor in Chuang 2021.
For Cantonese, he definitely does not speak it, and has to learn/memorize the pronunciations every time he sings a Cantonese song. It's probably the same for French.

You have seen him performed in different languages & voices, for genres wise, he is very versatile as well, another very unique one, something new in these 2 songs:
"Doomsday spaceship" (like a conversation between God & Human with another kind of language) & "Cassini" (the grand sacrificing of the spaceship after completion of its mission in 2017). Please kindly check it out. 🙏🙏🙏

From my knowledge that other countries native persons such as Russians , Italian, Ukrainians....they all gave him a good complement. They all said Zhou Shen did not have
too much accent on that song. He really has talent on languages. When he has performance
in China different provinces, first of all he has to learn one song with that province dialect and
sing it to those audiences.
