Any tips for us must try?
Yes, 7-11 is literally just outside the hotel, part of the cable car stop / building. So, it's super convenient.
Only tip is to try all those water sports activities at least once! Standup pedalboard and pedal boats are not available during low tide, so if you really want to try those, have to go during high tide (I know.. it's weird). Kayaking is not affected and can go anytime.
Actually, I think we need tips from you! Maybe you have a suggestion on a great staycation hotel that we should try next?

I will try to explore more interesting places to do in Singapore, we are getting bored on staycation, most hotels over budget cut, many benefits has removed, like not worth to spend the money :(

I tried the Stand up paddle before, there is a fin under the board, think low tide will damage the fin if the guest not familiar with the beach.

I think that will be your son's paradise, many many activities, the waterpark and the kid club is much more bigger. ParkRoyal Beach Road also not bad, super affordable and offer locals activities for everyone. And then Park Royal Marina Bay, there are beautiful and have real birds, huge gym and cute teepee for kid. Those are the 3 hotels we recommend you to try or we can lent you the tent to camping :p
Now 7-11 rebranded and they offer many nice snacks, food and drink, we go at least 2 to 3 times a week. Tomorrow I will stock up my alcohol there from 7-11.

Water sport activity should be included. We didn't have to pay extra for it. It's part of the beach access booking.
Can you tell me how far the cable cars are from the resort? Are they walking distance? Thank you.
It’s near the entrance to the hotel, where 7-11 is. From lobby, it’s probably 3-5 mins walk at most.

We didn't encounter any actually. Maybe if we left some food or clothes on the balcony, we would have seen some :(
