I make a good satay sauce.
Keens curry powder
Strawberry jam
Crunchy peanut butter
Ketcap manis.
Blend it together with boiled kettle water until you have the consistency you want.

To eat Indonesian food at affordable prices and the restaurant is quite representative and clean, try coming to Solaria, usually at the mall, choose seafoid fried rice, seafood miegoreng, capcay rice ext

That was fantastic 👏 Will definately go to Dutsburger, Warung 2Q and Werdhapura which we have eyed off many times on our walk past. My favourite was the Chicken Satay at Warung 2Q. Looked amazing, great serving size and the satay sauce 😋. Great selection of cheap eats presented.

We just love you guys, this video is great, as always. You are the real deal and know how to be respectful and informative. My favourite is the chicken sate sticks and the peanut sauce. They looked amazing. There's none like the Bergs (despite many trying).

AKAH was on my potential list before this.......I've moved it to DEFINITE....just too pretty!
Dutsburger was an eye opener for someone who doesn't love burgers, but will be a lovely shared cheapie lunch when staying at Sindhu.
And can't wait to check that peanut sauce at 2Q......might have to sacrifice some of our lunch times at Warung lillah near by.

Hi again guys. I have re-watched your cheap eats and this time have taken notes. Just a question - If we are going to stay 10 days in Sanur, do you think I need to rent a scooter to get around and explore these great places. I'm an experienced rider, so John would be my passenger. Or could we get away with walking and/or taking a taxi.
It’s easy to download the Bluebird app and order taxis as you go. Same with Grab (like Uber).
If you want to ride, have a license & are covered by travel insurance (no alcohol) …. Hire a scooter 🛵 if you prefer 🤩

You can drink bottled water and ice without issue! It’s not from the tap 👍

In order for your travel insurance to cover you, you need a licence in Oz, international driving permit.
I think scooters start at around 50k (aud$5) per day depending on which bike you get

Thanks, we live in different worlds but in Australia and post COVID all prices up to 20 to 40%. I am a very proud Australian and I have an Italian back ground. Going to Italy in June and all meals far cheaper then Australia. Going to Bali again in Oct, once again so so much cheaper and quality just as good. I can't help but feel that Australians get ripped off and happy to get ripped off. I pay $5 -$15 Aussie for main courses in Italy and some of Europe (never is tourist hot spots of course) Happy days !

Rome excellent and hectic. Very touristy so prices high and food a little on the average side, unless you know the right places to eat.

Maybe you should back on your bike and learn how the culture lives and you've been here a while now why not put an effort into learning basic Balinese.

Those places are not cheap. Dont make the mistake to compare indonesian prices with prices of your countries, because in Indonesia wages are lower. For indonesian those restaurant are expensive.
