Watching the absolute battle cobblers have to fight to repair a pair of Nick's boots is always a testament to the quality Nick's puts out.
I'll say it again, the boots are always a wonder, Brian. No question but I think I can vouch for a bunch us that come here by saying your humility and positivity are what gives these boots and most importantly the videos their character! Great stuff as always, brother!
Does humility really apply for someone choosing to record, edit, and monetise their video content? Not implying I don't enjoy the videos but some comments like this seem to try pretty hard to pretend there's a lot more to this than there really is.
@@japesss don't be an asshole. Cobblers have to be trained for quite a while, and footwear is one of those thing where attention to detail is super important.
@@timothynguyen4446 How is anything I said being or acting like an asshole? I never even remotely implied Brian didn't do impressive work or have attention to detail?
You've clearly misinterpreted what I meant in the last sentence - I see a lot of comments like this that that try and build up videos of a artisans and craftsman doing their work into something far more than it is. 'Humility' just straight up isn't relevant here.
Now you calling me an asshole - that's being an arsehole. Pull your head in.
I love in Bedo his joking and philosophizing. From Trenton and Heath their sense of history and method, and how they love to share their knowledge. But I love in Brian what he tells with his hands and eyes. Each one has a way of conquering my heart and make me respect and admire their craft. Thanks... ❤️
Thank you 🙏
*Great job Brian resoling these Nick's Boots! They were very much in need of new soles and heels! It's awesome the stitchchdown construction was converted to goodyear welted! I actually prefer that on my boots! I would change a pair of Nick's Boots to have them that way. It will make it easier to resole, since the welt can be removed (when it gets too worn down, etc) and be replaced with a new welt! Overall well done Brian! Beautifully restored!*
*All those complaining that all the boots that needed were rubber soles, no. The customer wanted a goodyear welted construction with new soles. Nothing wrong with that! Also it's the customer's boots not yours lol 😅🤣🤣🤣!*
Thank you for another great video, Brian!! I love your personality.
Wow!! Definitely a testament to true craftsmanship!!
Stay humble Brian and you will go far outstanding jobs that you do with these boots are awesome love watching your videos keep up the good work young man

Thanks for inputting the tunes! Great video as always.
Beautifully done as always Brian....👍👍
The satisfaction I got from this video (especially the end) when he pulls the boots out to show the finished product and you can see in his face how proud he is of the finished boots I could definitely watch this all day!
nice, new vid from brian that makes my day! best regards from germany
You have incredible talent !
Excelente trabajo. Me da gusto ver a un verdadero maestro artesano efectuando su trabajo. Saludos Brian y a tu maestro también.
You are a true artist, my friend who I've never met, but yet I feel I know you. The love and the care, not to mention the pride you take in your craft. I understand exactly!##! Much respect to you sir!# Salute##!!
Nicks has one the best hand made boot in USA and a great price see the craftsmen ship and Brain puts his own spin on the boot Great Job !!!!After watching others on youtube I see when you stitch the outer sole you didn't created a groove in the sole and exposted the stitch to wear down quickly I have watch Trenton & Heath channel
Love your work
Your videos feed my soul. Peace to you brother.
True craftsman...Brian is classic right down to his vintage protective eyewear. Keep up the great work.
Thanks from the East Coast
I love watching you work
...great job Brother
Your talent is incredible !! Wow is all I can say 👍
Fantastic resole Brian! Love the piano signature tune that plays towards the end as well. I listen for to it with each video.
Perfect, excellent!!!!!
Beautiful workmanship!
It's beautiful Brian
I love this guy. Thank God we still have such skilled craftsmen in this country. All is not lost!!
First time i've seen you do a stitchdown resole, looking great keep it up brother
Woah... you "refined & niced" up them boots #RoleClub style! 👍👍
Fantastic work!
Amazing!
Hello from Scotland,
Love your channel and I've been working my way through all your old stuff.
I can't just not say anything (I've tried not to be that guy)
I was once (many years ago) using a chisel all mushroomed over like your punch is at the end. A piece of the mushrooming came off like a bullet, not exaggerating, it was like a bullet when I hit it with the hammer and the piece entered my hand in the soft part between finger and thumb. It embedded itself 1"1/2 into my hand and I had to cut the piece out with a knife and I still remember the pain today.
Dress up the end of your punch and put a taper on it.
Love watching you work Brian . You're a true craftsman .
Following from the UK .
Good isn’t he Neil T I also enjoy his shows I’m in North England Take care Stay safe 👍👍👍
I'm UK as well, also enjoy these videos.

Homie going to start charging an additional premium for resolving Nicks boots going forward 😂
what can I say, a man that knows his craft....relaxing N cool content!!!
Fantastic work
That's a tough pair of boots to tear apart, Well built to start with I would say . Love your work ⚒ ⚒
Some serious craftsmanship
Very good job Master
Those are some bad ass boots!!
Nice one Brian 👍
Отлично, как всегда!
Beautiful work!!! Anybody who complains about the cost of a complete resoling needs to watch this video!! :^)
These seriously looked like just replacing the rubber heel pads is all they needed! Amazing boots.
totally I was wondering that myself
Yeah I was wondering why t f someone would want to deconstruct such a well made boot when the soles- to me - don't look that bad
Becuase thats what the customer wants and paid for.
@@Will-yp6ny Thanks for clearing that up, Will. You've been very helpful.
Nice work.
Outstanding, I think it's Nick's Falcon. Hazel brown color with greenish outsole it's masterpiece contrast ! Love to watch your work Bro!
Great job
Hello bro, every time i,m amaze by your work....💟💟💟💟from🇲🇾👍👍👍
Way to go Nick's 👏 🙌 👍
Awesome
I've watched so many of these resoling videos. I find them and the accompanying music soothing and relaxing. I have an idea though: Brian, how about one of these with you narrating what you're doing each step of the way?
I think that would ruin the zen quality of the video. There are plenty of videos describing the process, it's just nice to see an artist at work in his craft without the distracting dialogue. This is a young man that is consummate at what he does, words are not needed.
I agree, I too would love to also hear what and why and here the sounds of the process. I love the sound that leather makes as its being crafted!
Look up the Trenton and Heath videos if you haven't already. Great guys and they explain pretty much everything as they go.
@@iamkeeler Love their videos, but I wish they would go the straight ASMR route sometime. I have recommended it through comments, which they have liked, but i don't think they'll go that route. Like personally i'd love a super long video, unedited, of just the sounds of the work going on in the workshop.
Maybe not narrating what he is doing, but perhaps subtitles with the description of what is going on. That way it wouldn't interfere with the music or the flow of the video that we've come to know and enjoy.
Nice work!
Unbelievable result.
Toughest sole removal everrrr!
Those things are bombproof!
I returned my redwing IR when staples popped through and ordered these. I would love to get a pair of the underdogs. I love the white sole.
I thought you meant because he ate nails
are those uppers veg tanned?
crazy hard job respect bro
Well done, sir.
Nick's seems to be the best built boot I've seen Brian resole.
that is one intricate boot .. sheesh !!
A true craftsman
These videos are better than meditation. Wonderful
Those are just dynamite looking boots. Great, great work.
Gosto dos seus vídeos, são trabalhos belíssimos 👏👏👏
Em meu país, o Brasil🇧🇷, a construção de botas é diferente.
This is fascinating I've watched a good few now .I live in a small town in South Wales and I don't think I know anyone who's had shoes repaired .that being said I don't think many people here are able to afford the quality of shoe that can be repaired . Brian's brilliant 👍
great job... 👍
Your hat is awesome
Good job. Good video.
*GOOD WORK*
Grasias varón por saber de don que Dios te siga iluminando tu don sabiduría de tu trabajo me encanta ver tu trabajo muy espesial
No narrating is what makes him unique. Narrating will take away the uninterrupted soothing music and artistry that we all are witnessing.
Nice tight spacing on the stitching for the Goodyear Welt.
Ótimo trabalho 😉😉
I like it.
That was a lot of work removing the original soles. I don't think Nick had in mind for those to ever come apart. Nice work as always. Be safe. 👍☮️🌞🦠😷🥾
On the contrary, one of the selling points of Nicks boots is they are completely rebuildable. They will replace literally the entire lower of their boots for half of what you paid for the new pair.
I can tell you love wath you do ¡!
Glad you showed the lay down toe of Underdogs, so much nicer than the Whites or Nick’s toe!!
It's a work of art the craftsmanship and time quality work not like today mass produced shoes that dont last long time
Nicks boots are hand made. You can still buy quality shoes and boots, but you aren't going to get them at Walmart or at Walmart prices.
También felicito tu maestros que en seño esetravajouy especial que Dios Melo Bendiga siempre
Great hat.
Paul Caskey thanks buddy
That looked like a new leather from Nicks! Wickett and Craig? Any guess Gents!? These ones patina beautiful and a great video to watch as always 👍🏻👌🏻
The Wickett and Craig just came out a couple of weeks ago with Nick's. That was just some great patina!
First time I have seen boots by Nick redone.
Very Very Good 👍👍👍👍👍
Не глядя палец вверх!!!
Those are some big ass boots! Shaq size boots!
Da trabalho, mas fica muito bom excelente recondicionamento, material de couro e tambem lindo, no Brasil sapato de confecionado de couro e bom!!!🇧🇷🇧🇷
This was definitely a case of “trust the process “ 😂
Hey Brian beautiful work man! do you ever do channel stitching? is that an option? thanks bro. scuffing my boots so I can send them to you sooner. 👍👍
Cool to see how its done... I did not notice you replacing the shank, if you did not - what is the logic or not replacing it?
Thanks.
That’s a big boots 🥾
👍👍👍
I didn’t think the existing sole looked that bad...but the new soles on those broken in boots make the set look KILLER.
15:40 money shot session.
👌👌♥️
