- OK, sure you know about London's most famous parks, but it doesn't mean they're the BEST. Victoria Park, located in East London, is a favourite of East Londoners. You can find people relaxing, cycling, eating or drinking in Victoria Park almost every day of the year and it's even been voted "Best London Park" multiple times. Karolina and I are taking you on a tour of Victoria Park, showing you the things you can experience and do there.

About Love and London:
I'm Jess, I've lived in London for many years, and this channel is a London travel guide for anyone visiting the city that wants to experience it like you live here. Beyond talking about the usual London attractions, I show you some of the cooler things to do in London, that most travel guides don't mention. Watch my videos and you'll feel like you've got a Londoner friend telling you the best kept secrets in the city.
Loving your videos , cool to learn about London
Great video!! Tks vm nd Bless you.
We are adding Victoria Park in our bucket list when we visit London.
Great little video that gives a nice concise overview of Vicky park. One of my favourite places in London. Lived about a mile down the canal from it for 12 years. No better place to go on a hot summer day. Moved back to Scotland and gosh do I miss it!
Aw well I'm glad you liked it Eric :) Hope you can make it back for a visit eventually.
Victoria Park is not my favourite, but what I do love is that there are so many cycle paths 🚲 Some of my favourite underrated London parks and green spaces include London Fields, Red Cross Garden, Woodberry Wetlands Nature Reserve, Clissold Park, Archbishop’s Park, Mile End Park & Spa Fields Park. Very good, informative video as always Love And London! 😀
Oooh lots of good ones here, i’ll add Greenwich and Blackheath, Battersea, Horniman gardens and Crystal Palace to the list.
Valentine's Park was my favourite park of East London/Essex in London but that was way back in the 1970s-1980s.
Hello Jess and your friend karolina that’s a good video you’ve done as being a born and raised Londoner I’m very grateful that we have lots of green spaces parks commons gardens in this big city of ours and it’s always an adventure to visit parks that one hasn’t heard of even though not well known to the outsider these parks are a vital source to the local community so that’s it for now so take care and cheerio
I am very thankful for our parks too !
I love Victoria Park. Lived and got married in East London, had our reception in Royal In on the Park, a beautiful restaurant/bar right on the park itself. Also ran, walked, had picnics, etc all the time. It's simply the best place. Thank you for posting.
I've had many a pint there :)
@@loveandlondon I'm so glad you know it. It's so lovely to have a beer in the garden looking into the park. You should also try fish and chips in 'Fish House' across the road (you probably know it). Our favourite chippy in London. Thanks again for posting, we don't live there anyone and your post brought back so many great memories. We miss it so much. ♥️
So... amazing place.thanx for sharing
Thank YOU for watching!
Superb place
Well done, Jess, I've lived around London all of my life and I've never even heard of Victoria Park yet alone visited it. It looks lovely there, a largely unknown gem indeed. Looking forward to your next video soon.
Thanks Stephen
Beautiful place
Nice and very straight forward
Thanks Malak
Love to visit Victoria park . Did live opposite it many years ago . Great park
Nice!!
I find it strange that anyone would think that 'Vicky Park' is relatively unknown. I think maybe this video is geared at foreign visitors to London as I have never meet a Londoner that hasn't heard of it. I've lived near the Park all my life and have always thought of it as an oasis in a sea of bricks and mortar. Also a great place to take the kids as there is an adventure playground located on the other side of the park from where the video was shot , with another Cafe nearby as well as a small play area for very young children.
Hi Jan, I know many Londoners who aren't aware of the park, if you don't live where you live it's not as well known. And yes, you're right, this entire CZcams channel is for people VISITING London.
Thank you
Very interesting. I was there in '87.... 1987 that is .. not 1887. Although, my grandfather who came from Groombridge Road, Hackney certainly used to play in "Vicci" Park in 1880s.
Greenwich park is great. it has the Royal Observatory, National Maritime Museum, plus the Planetarium It also has a deer park, ducks ect & a playground for the kiddies Just outside the park you have the Cutty Sark clipper, There are plenty of markets ,pubs & places to eat plus some lovely little shops. You can get a river bus from the Greenwich Pier to take you to central London,There is a foot tunnel that takes you under the river Thames to the opposite bank. Its a great day out
I found an AIRBNB overlooking the Victoria Park. Would you suggest of staying here as my base in London for a trip ?
Yes its the best Park i think so large.... In Richmond park as well is beautiful👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hello! I am visiting london in august and have a list of places i’d like to visit. Could you make a video about what areas have what? for example what is the shards closest attractions. what’s near buckingham palace. This would make it easier for me to plan my itinerary accordingly without going back and fourth through the city. i’d just prefer to watch a video of you talking about it.. thanks!
Hi there, I've made a 3-Day London Itinerary for exactly that. You can find it here: loveandlondon.com/3-day-london-itinerary

This was filmed a while back.

@@hairyairey yeah 2012 was stinker. I'm in Scotland, would not say it s a washout yet
Once upon a time fallow deer roamed Victoria Park, at least until the early sixties. Things sure are different now.
Please do a 7 days itinerary
You can split the 3-Day London Itinerary into six days: loveandlondon.com/3-day-london-itinerary

Victoria Park is known to all Londoners.
It's not actually! I have a ton of Londoner friend who had never heard of it. Hope you enjoyed the video.
