It contains four types of embroider eyes.
Type-1 : French Knot
Type-2 : Sleeping eyes
Type-3: Elongated eyes
Type-4: Sleeping eyes with eye lashes

Squish it so that when you cut the string the end will get sucked into the form. That way you don't have that unsightly discoloring at the spot where it was sitting.

Thanks so much for this. I was having a terrible time with sewn eyes and just couldn't get them right. For small children's toys I don't like the safety eyes because they will work their way out. I like the sewn the eyes.

Won’t the sleeping eye come off since the thread is not tied down to anything?
Most probably it doesn't come out. As it's secure inside the polyfill. If you want you can definitely tie the thread.

You can use embroidery thread or just use the yarn which you are using for your Amigurumi.
I for the life of me cannot understand what is happening from 2:26 to 2:37 even in super slow mode.
It's just that you have to hide the tail ends after embroidering the eyes. Hope it helps you. ❤️
