Your time in Tagaytay will condition you since its clime and that of Baguio City in Benguet province are similar. Congratulations! From Pampanga, my nephew will also be excitedly living in Baguio City soon for his law studies. I wish the Kim Family the best as you start your new life in another city. Thank you for taking us with you on your adventures. Be happy and keep safe always!

Tagaytay famous for bulalo and beef. the glass or transparent noodles are glass noodles or pancit sotanghon . Way or road to Baguio is long and winding. be safe. Baguio is colder since it is higher than Tagaytay, lots of vegetables too like broccoli, cauliflower, etc. and cheaper than in Metro Manila. The flowers are famous too especially during the flower season or festivity.
There is a state or govt owned university in Baguio like University of the Philippines which is a good school or if you prefer private schools which are expensive.

Bone marrow Bulalo is so good. That's the best part and my favorite dish with lots of vegetables. The bone makes the soup flavor tastes better. I always make a dipping sauce for bulalo which is kalamansi, vinegar, sili labuyo and really small drop of soy sauce mix them all together. Anyway, enjoy your new places adventure and always stay safe :)

If you live in Baguio, expect high costs for everything-apartment rentals, food, etc. The prices will almost double compared to where you came from. And brace for heavy traffic. However, nightlife there, especially on Session Road, is very lively. Try to learn the local dialect, Ilocano. But most Ilocanos now speak Tagalog, so Tagalog is the most widely spoken language there. That’s why I told you before to learn Tagalog, not Bisaya, because you don’t know what comes next.

The bone marrow inside the bone of bulalo is very nutritious, a good source of collagen. But just like any rich foods, you should eat moderately. We have different kinds of pancit & there are various types of noodles used. Almost every province or region in the Philippines has its own version of pancit or noodles. Lastly, there are lots of koreans living in tagaytay & baguio. There's already a sizable group of Koreans permanently residing there. Enjoy your stay in Baguio, it's a very beautiful place to live in.😊😊

It’s gets foggy there when the temp is lower like here in the US. You guys should go visit Nuvali also.

Baguio has a higher altitude than Tagaytay that’s why it’s colder here especially during rainy season and during Christmas till New Year season. Here in Baguio there are pine trees rather palm trees…a lot of Koreans before came here to study and live for one because of the weather, another is because of the city itself. There many international schools here in Baguio and there are still Koreans here who are living here for good especially in subdivision areas. Hope you’ll be able to love the place and community. One thing though it’s not good here is too much traffic especially during weekends because of local tourist coming up here…😑

Baguio is good too. If you wanna go to the beach, it is just 1.5 hours drive. If you wanna go to Manila, it is just 4 to 5 hours drive. If you wanna ho to the Ilocos region, about 3 to 4 hours drive too. If you wanna go to the Cordilleras like Benguet, Sagada Mt. Province, it is just about 5-6 hours drive. Going to Ifugao would be about more than 6 hours coming from Baguio.
Fish and lowland vegetables would be abit cheaper than Manila since Pangasinan and La Union are just 2 hours away. It is where lowland vegies come from. As for highland vegetables, it is so much cheaper. Overall, living expense would be affordable. There are very good colleges too. The only downside in Baguio is the rainy season and high house rent.😊
