I also forgot to mention u can also bind ur jump to ur right stick so you can aim and jump with the same bind its pretty cool
one thing tho abt aiming, does holding the right stick firmly better for aiming?
@@notFirst2195 Depends. If you hold it too firm your aim could be more choppy or you might accidentally crouch if it's your bind, you want to be light and smooth with it
@@FreshThePigMC my right stick has drift, if i don't hold it firmly it'll drift, by holding it firmly i can lessen the drift and play normally, my aim does sometimes get choppy but thanks
i used to have custom controller before. It took me so long to get good until i got dualshock 4

This helped so much as soon as I turned my sensitivity to 100 I played a few matches to get used to them and I’m a beast now taking full iron armour people down with leather armour

Tip if you don't wanna put your thumb on 2 buttons or do claw and if your used to regular controls, make your jump/A button LB/switch left in hotbar button and then make your LB your A, it helps me at least cuz I can't do claw or sum unless I'm on a phone.

I desabled one of the duel shock 4 triggers springs to make it click faster
After watching this video i can assure u that i am a weird controller players 😂 my aim is reallly and i mean REALLY shaky i use rt or l2 for ps4 players to jump and other stuff like i butterfly click etc but good video all i would say for new controller players is that mess around with your settings dont just copy someone elses :)

Great tutorial Fresh! But I still haven’t improved at the game. I can’t wtap,strafe,combo,sumo,box or even pvp well at all. I always lose skywars and treasure wars and can’t get better everyone always combos me and 360s me too. I can’t aim well at all and I play on 91 sensitivity and are always aiming at air while the other player is comboing me and doing tricks on me and I can’t get a 4 hit combo. I wanna quit so bad. Even if I keep playing for like another year or so I won’t get better I’ve been playing pvp since mid 2020 and just won’t and can’t get better. I’m probably just gonna quit anyways and idk any advice that will make me wanna keep playing the game.
i do what i like to call, "semi-claw" where i use the side of my pointer finger to press jump (i play switch pro and use a as my jump button) and keep my thumb on the right stick. i use my middle finger to click zr (r2 for you) and normal click i get 5-7 cps consistently. again, i use switch pro, so both r and zr are both the same depth, not analog. i use 100 sens. please judge me. idk this works for me and probably just me i have no binds except x/y are swapped, triangle and square for you

Also an extra tip: for combos only use sbs while theyre running at u facing at u, throw them when theyre 2 blocks near u
I dislike and discourage snowballs and projectiles for comboing for the most part, you should try to practice without them so it doesnt make you reliant on them

ive been playing on an xbox for 4-5 years now and good advice id try out some things but I got controller drift and im trying to fix it.
PS, a good way to aim early or late with a controller is doing a spaz move in a circle if someone trys to juggle you and you can force them to do an endurance battle instead.

Ok, ok...So you're telling me Fresh is still using X to jump?! And he can jump reset, jump trick and jump reduce perfectly?!
That actually helped me though, I thought it was impossible to do good jump resets, jump reduces or jump tricks with X to jump because I found L1 jumping way easier but I cannot switch slots without L1 so I kept my jump on X...
Edit: I realized my thumb is not big enough to use the Fresh grip that ler's me press X while aiming perfectly but I guess I will get used to it
