Sunset Beach is the reason why I'm retired in Cambodia. Living in Kampot.
Sunset Beach in 2021 was heavenly. The hike through the jungle is truly worth it! This coastline in the dry season is the place to be. Offshore winds and crystal clear water for 3-4 months.

I looked up on the internet and found an article reporting the eviction in February. Wow, you saw the last of the island in its natural and quaint state!
Exactly! It’s so sad that we were on the island the same day all the tenants received eviction notices.

How much it cost a unit room per night Keli?

What hotel as a house is that? Prices?
That is the Sunset Bay Beach Resort. Unfortunately it is not going to be there anymore due to all hotels being evicted in February of 2023.
Was Octopussy still up and running?
It was when we went in February 2023, however we are not sure about now.
