- Updated and improved video!
This may be the BEST Glock trigger ever made. No joke. Finally a company comes out with something completely different. With its own "receiver" housing and trigger return spring, it is like nothing else out on the market.
We hope you enjoy this install! Let us know below what you think of the trigger, and as always make sure to check us out on social media and our website!

Love the sound of cnc in the background!!
this is the most clear tutorial. Thank you Midwest Gun Works!
Sweet. Thinking about picking one up. Appreciate the video
They're well worth the money!
This video was very helpful! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
After several hours of frustration and phone calls to Timney, my Gunsmith gave up trying to install the comp trigger into my stock Glock 19 Gen 4. However, he did test installing it in his Glock 19 Gen 3, and it installed and functioned perfectly. Timney indicated on his last call that Timney had incurred some defective parts in their mfg. process causing issues for installations for Gen 4 pistols. Since I wasted $$ with the Gunsnith attempts I sold the Timney kit to him at a discount. I plan on my future purchases with Mcarbo in the future since I've incurred no previous issues with their products.
Anyone making videos like this needs to take notes from this guy! Very well done. Thank you 👌🫡
Great video brother 👍👌
got 2 of these, night and day difference after the installations
Great video! Thanks! But…Dude, is that a Bell and Ross watch on your wrist?
Great vid, but not sure if your trigger is slightly diffent than mine, but you didn't install the U-shaped washer? Mine came with it
correct, he didn’t. he missed it. I noticed that too.
The early models did not come with the U clip and 1 return spring only.
did your kit not come with the C washer? it goes under the screw
Seems to have forgotten the C washer in this video. Step 7 in the supplied instructions
I noticed no one has used the c washer?? I got my kit today for a gen 5 and I'm not sure if you only use the c washer with the red spring for an aftermarket connector or does it go in no matter what. I have also seen that screw start backing out and people were using blue loctite. Maybe the c clip takes care of that issue?? It would be nice if timney made a quick video explaining the springs and the c clip for these newer kits they sent out. Literally would be a 2 minute video lol.
At the time of this video the c-washer wasn't a part of the kit. It was recently added
having issue with resets...probably gonna return mine...need better pic of that little spring fitment
This vid is deja vu.
I love your install video, thanks for the tutorial. I can't believe it, but I lost the tiny set screw. I dropped it and it's just GONE. I'm SOOO mad. I'm trying to get a replacement set screw
Timney should be able to get you hooked up!
i talk to Timney triggers today about the video that Johnny Glock did with modding one. I also ask about the take up travel that can be eliminated. And that is when he told me that they are working on that they are working on that with another trigger. Johnny has a trigger that drops trigger weight and the take up. I want 3 pounds with no take up as a single stage trigger.. So a single stage trigger is on the way!
Great! Gut another trigger after purchasing this unit smh~ A single-stage would be AWESOME! Wish the striker-fired trigger would mimic a 2011 now that would be a dream come true~

Or even a properly enhanced 1911…
.
Just installed it on my G35 for IPSC - thanks for the video!!
I can't even get this thing to break after 8 dryfires, any solutions?
Seeing that you installed the silver spring vs the red, have you had any problems with the trigger reset or light strikes? I’ve got one ordered and would love your input. Thanks in advance.
Can you guys make a video on how to install Timney Trigger Calvin Elite for AR15. Make sure to include crayons please
How’s the trigger holding up?
Where is the spring at?
What if my trigger doesn’t reset?
Will it work in a gen5 maybe with little work?
They are releasing a Gen5 model very soon.
Just make sure to loosen the screw on the Timney sear assembly and install the C washer under the screw after installing the sear in the trigger housing. Other than that great vid.
They just started adding the C washer to the trigger kit n the red spring when it first came out it didn’t come with the screw either for the housing as time goes by the trigger kit got better 🤙🏽
CRAPP!! I did 2 before I read this. Had to do both again. Nice thing it only takes about 60 seconds once you have done it. Thanks for the comment.
Don't lie... how many takes did you do before you got the locking block pin installed that easily? 'Cause that looked smooth.
I took 32 takes myself
@@colerogers6816 :
Hell, did mine in “22”, but not all @ one time !
Had to stop many times over a couple Days…
For ‘some’ Reason ? ;^ )
.
Can I have a Zev Connector with this ?
Now you can. I just got the new gen 5 kit today and it come with 2 springs. One for oem connector and one for aftermarket connectors.
Any chance this trigger is coming out for slimline Glock’s 🤔🔬🛠🔥
We have now word of that, as of right now.
Why do you think your viewer base would like the intro to this video? Otherwise one of the better videos on the subject.
Well there's no more guessing I am the dumbest **** guy in the room because whatever you did there to install that seer into that trigger housing it's magic because all you did was tighten that screw you never took it out and then you turned it over in times again and mine fell right out 800 * so I don't know what kind of magic you're pulling
You missed the shim
:46 bad habit I always see when racking a slide of an "unloaded" gun. hand in front of muzzle. always rack from rear of slide.
It never went in front. It was over the top. Plus this firearm was safety checked about 10 times prior to starting the video.

Lets not pretend that this isn't your way of virtue signaling just how "gun experienced" you are. Truth is, you didn't know how to install this trigger, you felt inadequate, and this is your way of saving face, by pointing out a "flaw" in the video or the guys racking technique. Pretty pathetic behavior for a grown man. What I expect from women and teenagers.
@@NinjaTurtleJerkers i don't care to install or buy one because I keep my carry guns stock.
90% of the obvious stuff covered and you guys decide to gloss over how the L spring is installed, which is not a typical Glock part? I mean ... I'd be embarrassed to call this an "improved video" hahahaha ... seriously someone was not thinking.
Not sure I’d trust that they did this right, they couldn’t put a timney trigger on a Remington 788 correctly.
We do many Timney triggers and haven't had any issues to my knowledge.. When did we incorrectly install a 788 trigger?
It’s not a good video started out good then next thing you already had parts in place etc
The trigger will stick… not worth buying
Still looks like a shitty Glock trigger to me
