I still have this LP in my collection. One of the last soundtrack albums to be issued on the Kid Stuff label in 1986. It features the original cast from this film. The album didn’t do well, thanks to this Box Office disaster.
Since the album sold about a hundred thousand copies, Kid Stuff/IJE was on its last legs. The label went bankrupt and IJE shut down the company after nearly 10 years where the label started in the late 1970’s for their not-so-good albums along with a series of cash grab albums based on licensed characters.
Kid Stuff got defuncted by the end of 1986. A year later, IJE started their own video game publishing company GameTek and put out a series of video games based on TV game shows like “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune”, both were released for the NES in 1988.

i had no idea they actually released a soundtrack for this film. It may not have been the best but i loved the music as a kid...and even now tbh.
Although i do wish the background music/score was available without the vocals too. It's a really good score.
