My girlfriend and I rode bicycles across Texas in 1998. It was during a cross-country bicycle trip from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale. We left Roswell New Mexico and headed east, staying about 30 miles north of Fort Worth as we crept east. We set a minimum of 80 miles per day so we could crank it out. It still took us seven days. As they say, ain’t nothing in West Texas, except for more west Texas. The Texas drivers were the friendliest in the whole nation. Almost every single vehicle that passed us waved to us.

@@NGC-catseye there is definitely a learning curve to piloting and creating videos. Slow and smooth course corrections are the key. I tore the meniscus again right before our trip to Indiana so gonna need surgery to fix it. It doesn’t hurt but the knee tends to bend back too much if I take too long of steps which doesn’t feel good. As Indiana Jones once said, “It’s not like years, it’s the mileage. Thanks for watching 😃
