We started this day Metal Detecting where an old store once stood. After a few hours we realized someone beat us to the goods. We set out for another permission. We ended up getting permission to an Old farm field. Around the beautiful old brick colonial home was all fill dirt, but out in the fields we discovered and Iron patch where we assumed the starter home once stood. Didn't have a ton of signals, but what we found was very old. After popping a few nice relics we were surprised by a few very old coins. This was a super fun day full of live digs, disappointments, and some awesome finds to boot!

Kurt - I honestly don't care what you find in any given episode. What I enjoy best is your friendship and camaraderie with Muck. It's a pleasure watching friends hang out, enjoying a mutual hobby, and engaging in playful banter.
Thanks Timothy! That's what I enjoy most myself
"Good gracious!!!" I just love you guys. ❤
I love watching you all. I really liked when you were in the water scooping out treasures
Thank you for the continued History lessons.
Excellent day of diggin'! Nice results! Interesting items!!! Thanks for the digital tour! That was enjoyable!
Always love it when you find Farthings!
Nice coppers and buttons....Glad you show the trash pile to show the work that goes into a day of detecting...Always enjoy your vids...👍
😁 I love guys that have Fun, in spite of the challenges. They are my People!
Hey, some days are good, some days not. But, it will always be a NOT, if you don't go out.
Thanks for sharing your adventure. 😀
Rivets, bullets, and, wire 😮 Omy. Love the Lennon spects on the frog. Thanks
I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work and sharing it with us!!! Nice hunt today!!! God Bless!!!
That sash buckle is pretty cool, the piece of cuff link is cool too. Thanks for sharing and allowing me to tag along with you all virtually lol. Happy digging and have a great day
I can’t tell you enough how much your hard work producing content week after week is appreciated. After three years of no COVID it finally found its way into our home. Can’t think of a more enjoyable way to pass time in quarantine than watching Hoover Boys episodes both old and new. Thank you Curt, Mark and the all the rest.
Thank you for the support!
Same happened to me--3 years successfully fending it off, & it finally got me! Now I'm well enough to catch up on all my favorite metal detectorists videos.
Great bunch of old finds, love you guys humor, I laughed my head off 😂
Looks like a good field day. Thanks for sharing.
You certainly dg it all- still scored some nice keepers- the silver piece of the cuff link is sweet- see ya next week!
😮Mark's finds! Whoa! Dear God, may I have the hearing of the Muck please? Well done you two. Have an awesome, wonderful find kind of week!
Awesome hunt. Keep up the good work.
Another great video. Like it when you guys laugh. Happy guys. Be safe.
Nice hunt guys i enjoyed the video, catch you on the next one. 🇺🇸
Thanks Fred
🎉 Idea: thanks for another fun video. I think it would be fun to weigh each hunters trash after the hunt so that you could make a game out of it somehow. This might make the trash signals more fun to make the effort to dig up and one more fun thing for the wrap up. Maybe whoever gets the most trash gets everyones taco money.
Nice hunt thanks for sharing!!!
I've found a couple of 300 year old coins. Always amazes me who held them last?? Keep it up great vids 👍
Thanks 😊 guys for doing this week after week. We all love 💕 this hobby. Can't wait til next week.
I have lost count on how many days just like this one I have had...better luck next week
Thank you
its not always about what you find just getting out there and having fun with friends is what makes the day. like fishing its not called catching 😉
Nice dig guys!
Awesome finds thank you for sharing 👍👍
Love watching your videos. The little "John Lennon" glasses actually might be a salesman demo.
That would be awesome
Congrats on your finds .😁 always enjoy your videos.
Nice Hunts and finds Guys 👊
Awesome
Not a bad hunt!! I would say that was a proper hunt 🤘🏻👍🏻
Love the coins. Love when you tell the date on the coins even the newer ones. Ty
Love all the Relics. Very nice Sash Buckle. Love tge Winder piece and Buttons. Congrats on the Coppers. Muck very Beautiful Silver Cuff Link. Awesome pieces of Shoe Buckles also. Take Care
Great finds!
I enjoyed your video and you had some finds.
That is definitely how metal detecting goes! It's nice to hope your gonna get a reale ...coz at a site like that..u never know. Lol. Great Vidaayyoo
Good stuff
That place must have been older than you thought. They were hunting prehistoric Deer. Loads bigger than they are today. 😮
Thanks Kurt, we appreciate your hard work and great content!
You two make me smile! Kurt…I need you to go to Scotland! I’m sure you’ll find a Roman there… I’d like to see you and one of the detecorist over there together. Between the history lessons of your two channels, I’m blown away.
Great video guys! Always have fun watching you! Awesome finds!
HOOVERBOY WEDNESDAY
Some days are Diamonds some days are Coal !
Dig it all ,Boyz
Awesome hunt and finds!
17:26 I would love to see y’all make a custom metal die/stamp for THB then take those blank copper coins and stamp them. After that hide them in fields again and tell viewers where to detect for them.
Another fun hunt, thanks for sharing. Those glasses were so awesome! "I thought it would be thicker than that; that's what she said" You guys are a hoot for sure!
Fun times searching
Dear Kurt and other Hoover Boys! As a fellow metal detectorist (in Europe) I always enjoy watching your videos. Would it be possible to update your playlist "episodes" with the latest ones you haven't added yet?
Thank you in advance and best regards!
Nice to see the Hoover Boys again, I enjoyed dropping by. Nice video Kurt, good to see you out having fun as always. ATB MMMD
👍
Would like to hear about your job and how your family is doing. Best to you, amigo.
All things considered, you both did great, some really nice bits, well done, great episode
I feel the same way when I hunt native artifacts.
Let’s gooo!
Things are bad when one wants to trade for a Wheatie 🤣😂🤣.
Haha! Yup
👍😍
Colonial coin finds basically only in limited regions with Colonial era settlements and trade
♥
Good morning from Shreveport Louisiana.
Mornin!
Kurt, how many episodes do you think you have published? Seems like I've been watching your channel for years. And it never gets old. Would like to see you get back publishing the boat rehab vids when the weather warms up.
Your key looks like a mantle clock key. I’ve had similar keys for the mantle clocks I’ve collected over the years.
At 20:36 that's a drawer pull you can see threads or top of tea pot
I think this might be the first time I've ever commented on any of your videos and I've been watching for years. I've always loved the videos, and I always will. however your new camera not focusing on every find for the first 30 seconds drives me crazy. 😂
Hey I can't wait until you and nugget find more coins like in the past. But still good finds see you next Wednesday
My Nanas last name was Hoover she was originally from Delaware.
what, no details on the yaller truck???? primo find! :P
It's so funny. Every time your camera doesn't focus, I'm moving my phone away from my face trying to focus ot. Lol. It wouldn't be as funny if it didn't happen like, every time.
Hey I made it here in the first 100. Yay me!!!
Thank you for the support!
Police Academy!😂
That fisheye only focusing in the center drives me crazy. I saw another CZcamsr tap their lens to stop this. Maybe try it, what could it hurt?
As always live the video and I'm always jealous 😂😅 .. We stopped at 8 different farms/homes yesterday and got a big fat NO!! on getting permission. I would love to see a current video from you guys on what to say to the land owners, and any tips for getting permissions , and how you do your research before and and while on site. I'm very new to the hobby and I really want to learn anything I can to save our history
rivets &! zipper pulls...WHY!??🎶🎧😂
I dont know if I missed something, I honestly haven't seen every single episode, but I'm wondering, where's Bobby buttons?
Can I have it? The pinpointer. 😊 I just subscribed 😊. I have a metal detector.
Got it for Christmas! Found Pennies in my rock driveway. I want to search way more. 🇺🇲✌👍🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
I hope One day soon you dig a 43 copper penny
Hey Kurt I am just wondering when you are out treasure hunting in the farm fields how do know where the edge of the property line is to the permission that you have?
Kurt i have a question, so whenever you dig on a persons property are you allowed to keep the things that you found?
Usually. Unless otherwise talked about with the owner. Most just want to see what we found
@@thehooverboys thank you for telling me that. My mom might get me a metal detector for my birthday and im super excited! Your videos have helped me as a beginner to find certain things and to not give your hopes up if you don’t find anything. Thank you so much and tell muck and the gang i said hi! 😁
Did you get a new camera? The auto focus on close ups aren't like they used to be.
Good hunt though.
Would you suggest the At pro or the ACE 400 for a beginning.
How can you clean those up to tell what they are?
Love the vids! watch all and been a fan for a few years:) Got to say the camera focus thing lately not great:( Just an observation.... Anyway, still a fan- Cheers!
Hate rivets but hate washers even more
At 20:37 you’re showing a key and to the left of it is a small button that appears to have the word “Best” on it. I found the exact same button here in CT. Do you have any idea what period it might be from?
Great finds lads as usual....could you give a brother a shout out across the pond I've started my own channel due to watching you guys for years 😀 👍
Hello, I’m crazy interested in metal detecting….what machine would you suggest that I buy as a beginner. Something that works very well but isn’t crazy expensive
There's so many. I have a link in the description of every video for everything we suggest. Good luck!
@@thehooverboys is the Garrett AT Pro Metal Detector with Waterproof 8.5" x 11" DD Search Coil a good option for a beginner. I'm mostly interested in coins. Is basically anything with the name "garrett" a good option?
@@thehooverboys When I press on the "beginner metal doctors" in your description it only brings m to the website and not the actual machine. could you tell me which machine the link was supposed to bring me to?
and also do you use the Garrett Pro-Pointer AT?
@Jackson Wilhelm Yes the AT Pro is a great machine. I used it for many years. Easy to learn as well
I used to hear tell of old timers "burying money in the backyard" and I always thought that meant in one place. Now I'm convinced they just threw it randomly around the property. That or these guys hide the coins to perpetuate this channel. 😅
when will you be doing water metal detecting.
As soon as the water warms up
Hey where’s Bobby been???
Working and resting
Where the F is Billy!
Dirty Ds and they're dug dirt cheap.
The best kind
First! Hi!
You're #1
@@thehooverboys But I smell like #2
@@kinskifilms Hahaha
"could have been a button... if you wear drawers"
ugh
It's Brad's butt lol
I'm kinda ignorant 😂..what does "looped it" mean?
I'm only 2mins into the video so I could be wrong but I'm guessing it means taking a look at it with a jewelers loupe?
@@ryancrow2876 you mean like greater magnification?
@@scottcarson4570 yes exactly. Makes it a lot easier to see details on beat up old coins and objects.
Why isn't your camera focusing properly?
I'm still learning it's quirks. Hard to see the screen
Come on Curt a farthing is a quarter of a penny/ Cent
