They all dont look around at each othr and say it's 12a.m. let's go to bed! No one in my family goes to bed at the same time in the house. The guy on the call is like we this and we that....he is lying. I can't even go to the bathroom without my glasses, yet he just walked off into the night and just ended up dead. They are scum for killing him and those who are covering it up.

That's been happening, even when I was in years ago but now it's in the news more often than before. They should put it on the news each time it happens but the military doesn't always want that.
Too many of these "kids" that join the army are sociopaths, just want to be trained for egotistical reasons, wanna be tough guys. They don't join to serve their country. Gabriel Onate Hood has beefs when my Dad was enlisted in the 60’s. He was an MP. Don’t tell me Hood doesn’t have MPs. People bring their prejudices into the military. Takes a good Sargeant to get that bs out of them. They were a lot stricter then. The stockade had barbed wire and everyone knew you were there. Domestic violence repeaters were taken out into the desert for rehab at night. Didn’t happen a third time.

This is a BS story: every member in that camping trip needs to be investigated by civilian investigators. The military is great with hiding the truth just not to discredit its own image. Soon enough, each of those members will be given reassignment orders overseas to separate and close the investigation. Civilian investigators can’t enter military bases nor can they ask where they have been reassigned. They just disappear.

I just read the autopsy report and did a little digging. His “friends” knew he was missing since the morning and came across park rangers but didn’t mention anybody missing and they finally reported him missing at 7:30pm. One of them also mentioned they were afraid he had hurt himself because he had suicidal tendencies..Trying to make it seem like he probably vanished in the ocean. There was no body found only a decapitated head, which autopsy report could not have been caused by a boat or shark. Ruled it a homicide because his jaw was broken and eyes were missing 😢 I get the chills just thinking it was probably the guys he was with.. their story has so many inconsistencies

It's no way a representation of the Army, there are occasional murderers, remember, everybody in the Military was a Civilian first. loonies and criminal types just like in the general population, don't know what's going on though, there, there was that murder on Ft. There has been fellow soldier on soldier killings since forever. I mean the "practice" goes back decades if not generations, all one has to do is a slight google search in digitized news articles from the past 50 plus years and see it's nothing new.
Doesn't take away the horror of it or lessens the victims in anyway, it just is what it is. There has been an uptick in gang connected violence but that's just because gangs are a relative new thing in comparison to the US military as an institution. (I am NOT saying this was gang related, just pointing out the differences of military crime per generation)
Most folks who join the military do so out of no other options in terms of career choices and/or life choices, lower/working class people are more exposed to gangs and gang life than their upper class/high suburban counterparts who are more likely to tend a high end university than military anyway. There is murder and violence from every class, it's just seems to be more gang related fuckery and other illegal activity in the military today then there was 40 years ago.

@@trippyx7301 people get murdered everyday in the US, whether civilians or military, at the very least if you're in the military it'll get reported (unless it happens overseas) and they'll be outrage, the city where I live there's been at least a dozen shootings every couple of days and we don't even blink an eye. You're more likely to die from a deployment though, and if you're that afraid, then you can join the Coast Guard, or Peace Corps. Don't make the mistake of thinking media exposure equals total numbers or per-capita incidents.

Sounds like he almost screwed up part of the story. We decided to go to bed at 12 i mean 12:03 nobody looks at the clock and says now we can go to sleep its 12:03. And if you did happen to look at a clock and see its 12:03 most people would say 12 or midnight and not included the 3 minutes
