This is how I turned my 2003 Ford galaxy into a camper part one. in part two i will be building bunk beds in the front for the kids plus a 180 degree awning.
Good idea with the window shelving. Great build all round. I'm going that route, done two vans in the past , just too much cash into then. Going the galaxy route next , plenty for my humble needs . Thanks for the great video, just subscribed 👍
I like it very much. what is the height of the building under the bed? Is it possible to sit comfortably in bed on a rainy day? Greetings from Poland 😉
@@riptarn I love it. For what it is it is so cheap to do. So far it has cost me £328 to do it. And that includes a lot I have done after posting this video. I have now done all the window coverings. Mini bar. More electrical bits and all the storage for underneath. I just need to complete the kids bunk beds in the front. Clutch and flywheel went on it so I have had to have it in the garage. Back all fixed now so I can carry on with it.
Ford Galaxy Camper , superb! Ouch.. how much did the clutch and flywheel set you back ? At least it’s piece of mind, how many miles on the clock and what did you pay for her ? Make sure to upload a new vid of your progress I’ll be interested to see :)
Sorry I have just noticed your message. For the bed platform I got one sheet of plywood from b&q that did the two platforms and the two door/worktops. Do you want me to send you the measurements?
The most effective van transformation I've ever seen. Cheers.
I've been doing this for years with my Zafira. Time to upgrade to a Galaxy.
Thankyou thats a really nice comment
Zafira ist etwas zu kurz
Super job well done
This looks great! Looking forward to the 2nd part as thinking of doing this myself soon!
Brilliant video! Amazing build. Where's part 2 tho?
Looking to try this myself, looks great 👏🏽👏🏽
Cheers. As it stands it has cost me £205

nice, "music" is annoying though
Super robota! Jak dużo miejsca jest pomiędzy dachem a materacem?
Czy taka wysokość wystarczy do komfortowego spania? Pozdrawiam:)

Nice build! Do all Ford galaxies have captain swivel chairs ? Never new.. what a brilliant idea
Cheers. All up to the shape change do. Most Alhambras do but not found many sharans that have. Makes a ton more space.
How’s it working out for you ? Is the galaxy good ? I’m contemplating getting one ☝🏻

Very nice, how does this effect the MOT?
I don't know but I can take it all out in about 5 mins. And put it back afterwards so not fussed really.
@@pjc23 Thanks! yeah that seems the best way - id happily make it permanent if i could get away with it but removable seems the way to go.
Nice work! Is she still on the road?
No unfortunately not she has gone to rest in the big scrap yard in the sky.
I suppose with the boot liner on the windows you do not need a curtain there???
No it was just to give it a cosy sort of feel. I need to get a new video out as it has drastically changed since then. Got a bit bored in lockdown 3.0
When is part two
Coming shortly I just need to put the video together.
Ford Galaxy Camper ok thank you , my dream is to do this to with a 2003 galaxy
Kids music , do you have swivel seats in the front ? I think that’s such a cool feature and very useful
Tinker Turner our family does
What is the size of the bed please? Thanks
Hi please see the link. I am not joking when I say it is amazingly comfortable. Just as good as our £600 matress.

@@pjc23 thanks a lot! So you bought two pieces of 120x66 (total 240x132) or you bought three pieces of 58x66 (total 174x198) ? Thanks again 🤗
