    The orchestra is the Karelian Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Edward Chivzhel.
    Eduard Nikolaevich Patlayenko, composer, - honoured Artist of the KASSR (1984), honoured Artist of the RSFSR (1987), - was born on March 9th, 1936, on the Kotelnikov farm of the Stalingrad Territory (now the Volgograd Region). Eduard Nikolaevich has been interested in music since childhood. He received his initial musical education at the Stavropol Music College in the oboe class. In 1963 he graduated from the composition department of the Leningrad State Conservatory. N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov.
    In 1963-1967 Eduard Nikolaevich worked as a teacher of musical theoretical disciplines and composition at the Petrozavodsk Music School. Since 1968 - teacher at the department of music theory and composition of the Petrozavodsk branch of the Leningrad Order of Lenin State Conservatory. N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, since 1975 - head of the class of composition and special instrumentation. In 1985, Eduard Nikolaevich received the academic title of associate professor, and since 1993 - professor 1890of the Petrozavodsk branch of the Leningrad State Conservatory (since 1991 - Petrozavodsk State Conservatory).
    Eduard Nikolaevich was one of the leading composers of Karelia, his works are performed both in Russia and abroad. He wrote about 30 works for the Karelian national instrument kantele. Author of the ballet “Hiawatha” based on the poem by G. Longfellow, 7 symphonies, as well as other symphonic, chamber, choral and vocal works.
    Member of the Union of Composers of the USSR since 1965, of Russia - since 1995. Executive Secretary of the Union of Composers of the KASSR in 1968-1971.
    The Karelian composer was awarded many awards and prizes, including the medal “Veteran of Labor” (1987), the Order of Friendship (2002), a diploma of the Council of Ministers of the KASSR (1986), the Prize of the Republic of Karelia (2002), etc. .
    Eduard Nikolaevich passed away on July 16, 2019.

    Hay tanto elemento interesante , como por ejemplo antes del min 25 pareciera terminar el movimiento con el símil del concierto de violín de Alban Berg . Así va recorriendo la obra no sólo con una dinámica interna que jamás pierde el trazo . Las pausas son para mi el eje en el que a pesar de cambiar el estado de ánimo, no pierde ilación.
    Carritos de órganos se desplazan como nubes.
    Trompetas y sus ecos en la montaña de piedra, reminisencias atmosfericas de la Sinfonia 2 de Mahler con todas las notas invertidas de las trompetas místicas.
    Personajes al final de esta obra conversan , el piano parece resurgir y se diluye,el violín lo mismo con el viento, y el arpa parece unir a todos , pero al final es el amanecer que llega con el agudo xilófono de y un triángulo brillante canta cuando las gotas caen muy lejos de ahí, lejos , pero no tanto.
    Ahora el sol parece salir. Parece que estoy mirando un nuevo amanecer, pero ya no estoy sólo.
    Esta es una historia para contar.

    9 months down - still no information as to the orchestra. But, who needs an orchestra anyway ? Voted down !

      I do wish you'd stop putting these stupid comments on You Tube. If the person mentions the Orchestra they could be forced to remove the music for copyright reasons. Then you wouldn't be able to listen to it for free! And neither would I for that matter!

      @@Cesar_SM Haha! just thinking the same thing- He votes down an immense artistic endeavour because of politics! I'm certain the Orchestra would be mentioned if it were known and created no copyright conflicts. Why dont you go find out who they are before you poop on soome composers hard work Would you rather have not heard it at all? ( regardless of your opinion of it)

      The orchestra is the Karelian Radio Symphony Orchestra. It must have taken me all of two minutes to find the information on the internet. I'm sure that you could have accomplished the same in ever lesser time had you not been preoccupied with continually complaining.
